I love the history of this hotel with Waikiki. The pictures and story behind it are amazing and nice to see this little hotel still standing. You don't see these anymore and it's nice to see her history still present. Mahalo
This review is based on my recent multi-week stay at the Waikiki Circle Hotel. First, you can be sure of COVID safety at the hotel. They meticulously sanitize each room after it is vacated and keep it empty for at least a full day. Second, the balcony and its door are enhanced such that it seems the room is fully open to the beautiful view yet at the same time sliding shutters can be closed for privacy. Third, the staff (Chip, John, Kevin,...) are even more helpful than usual in finding alternate activities for venues closed due to virus restrictions. As always, the Pacific Ocean is just across the street, available for swimming, surfing, catamaran, out-rigger canoe and other activities ( hotel towels supplied ). Restaurants, museums, the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center and International Market Place are all within easy walking distance. Having stayed there more than 40 times, I look forward to my next visit to home away from home. The Waikiki Circle Hotel has my strongest possible recommendation as a fantastic place to stay in Waikiki.…
I am so glad I stayed here, it will always be a go to for me in Honolulu. It's right across from the beach, the best surf shop Moku is right around the corner as well as Shorefyre restaurant which is amazing for every meal!
Beach-front rooms were disturbingly noisy. First, noise from the street (we stayed at level 8, with small terrace) then the strong wind noise from within the building due to its round shape. Rooms are much smaller than they look on photos with LG air-con system from the 90’s. I guess being beach-front, this hotel does force you to make huge sacrifices. Pros: close to everything including the very best - turquoise water of Waikiki Beach.
Really nice location, but just an okay value. Be aware that the price quote online does not include taxes or fees including an amenities fee. The only thing we used was wifi which should have been included with the room like a tv. This was not disclosed when reservation was made. I’ve stayed at 4 Waikiki properties and this was weakest in terms of value and quality of room.
Very good location. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. No pool, but beach right across the street. Price was very reasonable considering the proximity to the beach. Limited underground parking, which was very useful to us.
Thank you for the memories. Everything was perfect, including the morning new paper! Great touch to help us keep up with the happenings of the day on the Islands. Your great customer service will certainly return us to your hotel!
I was surprised with additional charges at the time of check-in which were not disclosed at the time of booking. In fact, it was assured what was charged at the time of booking was the final cost and no payment due to the hotel but yet presented with an additional fee to pay or leave forfeiting what was already paid.
A fantastic hotel in the best position available in Waikiki. The views from our beachfront room were spectacular. The staff are the friendliest and happiest people you would wish to meet. We will be back sooner rather than later.
I have stayed in quite a few amazing places in Hawaii over the years but the Circle is by far my favourite place ... it is not a resort with a pool and dripping with diamonds but value for money and location and hospitality wins hands down!!! I have just had my 6th stay nov 22 and I am already booked to stay there again April 23
