Having stayed at this hotel a few years ago and loving it we decided to return on a recent trip to Hawaii. We once again stayed in an ocean front corner suite this time on the 7th floor ( it is well worth paying for one of these rooms as they have the best views ) The wrap around balcony...

When returning home to the islands, there is no hotel I stay but here at The New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel. Perfect location at the very end of the Waikiki Strip, quiet, nice morning and sunset walks. Great to sit on the beach early morn and watch the sunrise over beautiful Hawaii. What truly makes this boutique very special, is...

We were here for 1 week, on the quiet end of Waikiki. The hotel seems a bit old, we were guessing sometime in the 1960's for construction, but it has been well maintained. The room we had, on the 6th floor, looked back across the water to Waikiki and the other, bigger, newer hotels.Fabulous view: from our balcony we watched the...

We selected this hotel because it is located in a less crowded area. We booked a 2 room suite partial ocean view. It exceeded our expectations. Room was clean, staff was friendly, food in restaurant was glorious. Wonderful beach great for snorkeling. Park right next door and still in walking distance to shops. Highly recommend.

This hotel is a gem, situated at the quiet end of the Waikiki Beach. Set right on the ocean, there are many rooms with wonderful views. Everything was clean and the two different rooms we stayed in (beginning of vacation and back at the end) were nicely furnished. The hospitality is wonderful at all levels. There's a very nice open...

We booked one of the "specials" that included a $50 food/credit. One trip to the bar or any restaurant will use that up pretty quick. After booking, I discovered that booking just the room with AAA rate would have been less expensive. We had the ocean view room, which is extremely small, basically a room with 3-4 feet around the...

If you want to be in Waikiki on the beach with palm trees swaying in the breeeze, but without the crowded sea of humanity, this is your place for a lovely vacation on Oahu. Located right on Kaimana Beach next to a park and across the street from another park, we had a room with a view of the ocean,...

If location is everything, the Kaimana Beach has it. On Waikiki but not in the core uproar zone of 3000 room hotels jammed with tour groups. Rooms tastefully remodeled since our last visit, but the beachside lanai still a prize-winning al fresco dining space. Waiters who were there years ago and who remember you. Five minutes walk into Kapiolani Park...

We had been at the New Otani several times from about 10 to 30 years ago, and were glad to find that it has remained an excellently located and reasonably-priced hotel near Diamond Head - away from the Waikiki crowds but close enough to make it easy to access when needed. It is also easy to take trips around the...

I didn't wanna stay in the middle of center Waikiki so we chose this hotel as it is near the beach with panorama view over the hole city and quieter area. The room was clean and nice, staff really service minded and restaurant had good food. Go for beer rather than drinks in the bar. Do book a table for...
