First and foremost ridiculous “cleaning fees” charged right out the gate. I have a big family so needed two rooms. They charged me an additional $400+ dollars per room as soon as I checked in. Cherry on top, also an additional $39 per day to park our rental vehicle. So ironically after the onslaught of charges the rooms WERE NOT CLEAN!!!! Ok guys I know most of us use a hotel primarily to sleep and rest after a long day of activities. But for the very least I would’ve liked to check in to a clean room and in pristine condition. The bathroom mirrors were not even wiped (still had writing from past guest who write when it’s steamy), there was beard hair trimmings on back board, tables felt sticky, outside chairs and table was dirty, and etc. Immediately felt as if I was in a cheap motel on the side of the road not one on a beautiful island in Hawaii. Many of their furniture is so outdated and seems like it was chewed up. The couch in the living room looked like it belonged on the set of ‘That 70’s Show’. The only reason I didn’t rate one star because the staff is super friendly and immediately willing to help and give advice about surrounding activities. Also another plus was the ABC store that’s right outside the hotel and the quick access to Kakākaua Ave (Main Street). Other than the bad hotel experience, Hawaii was amazing and had the blast with my family with unforgettable moment. Will be returning soon we didn’t wasn’t to leave!

WOW - we have stayed here before and know what Apartment to ask for (81 with a view of the water - glimpse) and also know its a serviced apartment so daily cleans dont happen - but the difference since Rebecca joined is just amazing. Forget anything you read or see more than 6 months ago. The cleaning is top notch, the services and amenities have all gone way better and now access to the Outrigger pool is back as well. Couple that with access to a gym again and discounts at Foodlands and local places we have gone from rating a solid 4 to a 5. The kitchens have always been a bonus and we also know more owners have upgraded their apartments as well (Apt 55 and 75) so more choice of upgraded apartments too. The friendly faces and prompt help just finishes of the Aloha. As to the cleaning fee - we have been told its being reviewed too but where else can you get an apartment with a kitchen, views over Fort De Rusy, one or two separate bedrooms that can sleep 4 to 6 people and one or two lanais you can actually have everyone on in Waikiki and still not spend 1,000's - REGENCY ON BEACHWALK. NOTE: we have been coming here for years but not since 2019 due to COVID and the view when the Hilton sends up its fireworks - always special.

Unfortuantely, I booked a room at this hotel due a price break alert that I received. I have an upcoming trip next week, after I booked the trip I thought I would take a look at additional photos on the property, too my utter shock and total dismay I discovered that this hotel has Mandatory fees Pay at property policy that reads as follows: "You'll be asked to pay the following charges by the property at check-in or check-out: Cleaning fee: USD 389.72 per accommodation, per stay (varies per unit) Service fee: USD 67.83 per accommodation, per stay" I have done my fair amount of traveling and NEVER have I seen fees as outrageos as this...the fees total up to more than an additional 1 night stay! This is insane! And more insane when I cancelled less than 10min within making the reservation I have to pay $362 for a 1 night stay! I can't even believe this - this hotel needs to BBB for unfair business practices!

This review is for unit 34. Overall, I had a good stay and would stay here again if I visit. My metric for hotel review is: 1. Quiet, especially at night since I am light sleeper. I always bring ear plugs when I travel just incase I stay in a noisy room. For this trip, I did not have to use it. 2. Clean, goes without saying So as long as it satisfies the two requirements above, then I'm good. The room is well kept and clean. I didn't find dirty or nasty areas. The place did NOT smell either. I was afraid that since it is an old building, there might be some odor from bathroom but luckily there wasn't. Parking is not free. They charge $40 a day for parking fee. It's a 5 minute walk to Waikiki beach. This is a good location, as it is close to: 1. Long Drugs 2. Lahaina Shave Ice 3. Ramen Nakamura 4. Henry's Place

Best parts: location, parking was easy, ABC store and 7-11 nearby, free pog juice in the afternoons, near a good farmer’s market, luggage storage, hot water Not so great: uncomfortable couch, chipped paint, no daily housekeeping, no recycle bins, no beach towel drop-off, no brochures or info on activities, no little extras like free waters, flowers, concierge Pool and beach access was at sister hotel down the street where we later had to drop off the towels. $400 in parking and cleaning charges for just 3 nights.

I stayed 3 nights in a 2BR / 1 BA in Jan 2020 and am writing this review from the unit. This is priced as a hotel but functions like an average or below average vacation rental site unit. The good: the location is convenient to both Waikiki and Hilton Hawaiian Village, the sister hotel has nice amenities, and the living room seating area is cozy. The bad: 1) the windows are paper thin, which matters because our 2nd floor room is across from a parking garage and every car that exits creates a pedestrian warning siren, all day and all night!, 2) the overall feel is unrenovated, like 3) the bathroom is NOTHING like the photos on TripAdvisor; bizarre sink that is huge flat and has a faucet 1.5 inches from the basin; shower is just a hand spray hung on one wall, with a soap tray screwed in with two drywall anchors, 4) the second bedroom uses sliding screens for privacy which sounds okay until you realize the A/C unit is in the living room, not the bedroom, and you can't leave the bedroom windows open because of the bleeping beeping from the parking garage next door so the second bedroom is just part of the living room, 5) 1 of 2 elevators out of order, not a big deal for our second floor room, but the tools and warning signs made the lobby feel sad too You can do better, especially for the cost

The staff are not friendly, they wouldn’t bother about you. I was on the lift with them and they were standing opposite and I was in the middle , they had no respect but talking to each other. The lift got stuck and both of them walked out of the and went away, at least they should have told me the way out. The toilets are blocked and every time I have to call someone to fix it. It’s not cleaned , dirt was on top of the fridge. If you are charging top $s , then I expect a better service

A reasonable apartment for three adults. Great to have the lounge area plus a decent sized balcony. Check the hidden costs- daily cleaning, new towels etc are not included. You can use the pool down the road at the Outrigger, but there are no facilities at this actual location (though laundry is available for $4). I think it is probably overpriced for what you get, but it is hard to find two bedroom apartments in Waikiki.

Stayed here from October 25 to November 2nd. The hotel is across from the Hard Rock Cafe which is on the Main Street thru Waikiki and one block from the ocean, loved the location. Right across from us was a car rental called Ace which worked out great for us as we didn’t need to pay the $45 a night at the hotel. The best happy hour is at Sky Waikiki it’s from 5:30 to 10 every night and drinks are $5 plus it’s 18 floors up in a rotating bar. Halloween was amazing, I’ve been to Vegas for Halloween and this was better. We did use Lyft a few Times and it was great. All I can say is we had an amazing time, oh ya it was 86 degrees during the day and 75 at night. 🏝🎉🥃❤️
