We stayed in a 'private' double room... by private, they mean a room at the back of a dorm that you have to walk through to get to your room. Which means you share the bathroom with the dorm, so its not really private at all. The rooms were clean, very basic, old furniture, old mattress etc. Rooms are all... More

Honestly, I've stayed in dozens of hostels in my life.....this place kinda sucks. Rooms are hot....one fan, bathrooms are actually really good....vibes were average really good location though. We had to sleep with the door open because the room was so hot, I normally don't care but there were random people in our room and bathroom I had to approach... More

We had a wonderful time at this hostel, Stayed there for 8 nights on total and never had any problems. It was clean, beds are comfortable enough and the staff is absolutely amazing, we were pretty late for our plane and the nice lady at the reception organised a shuttle to the airport which picked up us just 10 minutes... I stayed at a lot of hostels while traveling Australia and stayed at the Polynesian on my way home. Everyone was super friendly and they have planned activities that you can join in on. Also the provided breakfast is delicious! Super close to the beach a shoppes, you cant beat it!

Was there for only 1 night and they mixed up my reservation. I asked for a refund and they wouldn't give it to me at first until I started getting upset. They take their time coz they said it's "Hawaii'. People are waiting in line so tired. Rooms are so dark and hot.

This place was lovely! Nowhere near as clean and modern as their website would have you believe, but still great. There is an outdoor common area with a kitchen, TV and hammocks. The rooms were comfortable, with decent en-suite bathrooms and large lockers. The location is amazing, 3 minutes walk from the beach, the Zoo and all that Waikiki has... More

Friendly, helpful & informative staff! The cheapest hostel! Gets house keeping daily & maintenance when needed. Has it's own cool tours! It's a standard hostel, you get what you pay for. We had the private room at the back of a dorm, cool relaxed place, lots of friendly people literally 1 block away from the beach! Brilliant location. The only... More

We stayed here for a week on a budget holiday, and it was by far the cheapest accommodation we could find anywhere in Waikiki. The location is amazing - just one or two streets back from the beach and the main strip in Waikiki. The accommodation is pretty basic, to the point where it's almost run down in some places,... We stayed in a private room with a double bed and as you would expect from a Hostel, it is very basic. The room was equipped with a fan, bed and a shelf for placing personal items. It was quite warm at night, but this is to be expected in HI in May. The shared bathroom, which was a basic... More
