Absolutely stunning, comfy beds, easy access to everything in Waikiki. Couldn’t have been better! Check-in staff was so sweet and helpful. The views from even the 10th floor would be hard to beat. Can’t wait to go back

Hotel's Favorite
We had booked this through Costco Travel. After years of pandemic isolation, we needed this getaway. The bell desk checked our luggage even though we were four hours early. We explored the immediate surrounding area during that time. The location is unbelievable. The first impression from the lobby balcony does NOT do it justice. The check-in line had several impatient guests in front of us, but we are on vacation so just chilled while others complained vehemently. We are right across the street from the beach and the ocean. After receiving our keys, we headed up to the 32nd floor of the Diamond Head Tower for the ocean view. The floor to ceiling balcony door opened up to the Pacific Ocean, along with the sights and sounds of Waikiki. Each day we went down to the pool area to check out chairs and towels for the short trek across the street. The convenience cannot be overstated. While others schlep their coolers, chairs, towels and toys across blocks of busy Waikiki traffic to get to "our beach," we just wait for the elevator and crosswalk sign before floating in the water. Note to everyone. The blue umbrellas and chairs on the beach are NOT a part of this hotel. They are available from the tents on the beach for $30/2 hours; $50/4 hours; $60/all day. You can find other vendors away from the beach for cheaper options. We discovered there is a small, but thriving, farmer's market Mondays and Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Fresh cut fruits, vegetables, crafts, jewelry, snacks are all available. Having three ABC stores within this property is very convenient. We didn't realize the third store in the back of the Ewa Tower until the end of our trip.

This is a good hotel - it's close to the beach, has great amenities like the pool / jacuzzi / gym and is lively above a mall with farmer's market and Hawaiian performers on Fridays. The staff for the most part is very friendly and embody the Hawaiian spirit. However, there was one pool staff - older man - that was rude / sarcastic that dampened my stay here - the pool, lounging and jacuzzi is something I looked forward to and prioritized.

Quick trip with friends, stayed at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki. Loved just about everything at the Hyatt Regency. This is a huge Waikiki location, the best way to explain it is it's a hotel with two towers with a mall on the first two/three floors. The stores are all great, including 3 different ABC stores. Main floor always had great live bands playing traditional Hawaiian music, loved that! Great singers and musicians. It was a bit overwhelming at first but you get used to it. Check-in was a bit slow, we got there early and took care of payment but was told to come back at 3 p.m., then had to wait in line again. Could use a different process or have more staff, but I understand staffing is difficult these days... once we got to the front desk the customer service was great, they even upgraded our room to one of the higher floors, we were on the 28th floor, loved it. The elevators were fast, no issues at all. The room was fantastic, clean, open, comfortable seating, and views were to die for, diamond head and Waikiki. Bathroom had a BIDET! Never thought I'd use one but after my trip, I'm feeling like I need to buy one... loved it. Toiletries that were provided were abundant and nice quality, the products didn't dry out my hair or my skin, I liked the scent as well. Enough room for two people to get ready, great lighting. Overall loved the room, very modern. Went down and checked out beach chairs and towels everyday... appreciated benefit, as the beach was twenty steps from the valet. This is in my opinion, the best location on Waikiki beach, seawall/kids pool right there and the water is just perfect. Love, love, love this beach location. We had a packed schedule while we were there but we made sure to get to the beach every day. Nothing feels better than floating in the beautiful pacific ocean. Pool was a little small but the hot tub was large, always full. Service at the bar and around the pool was always great and on point. Music was my favorite part of the pool, my favorite was Preston Kauwe.... he was fantastic, knew all genres and amazing voice. There are so many dining, shopping options in the hotel alone, but this is in proximity to other options as well. You could literally never leave this resort. I really liked this hotel/resort, and my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had six nights in the hotel. Upgraded to the oceanfront suite. Hotel is in a great location where it is just steps away from the beach. The hotel is dated and renovation may be needed soon. The only thing about the experience is that the housekeeping and cleaning issue. In general, it is fine. But I do see some hair on the bathtub when I checked in. During my stay, I also saw a couple of little roaches in the room. These did not bother us but it would be great if the hotel pay a little attention on the cleaning policy.

After looking at all the hotel choices in Waikiki we chose the Hyatt. This was our honeymoon trip and we felt this hotel was located to everything. Exceeded our expectations. Staff was super friendly and check in was a breeze! Room was very clean and comfortable. We had an ocean view and enjoyed our balcony! Breakfast was delicious and a great variety! Looking forward to staying here again for our anniversary!

How this hotel is a 4star hotel is confusing? This hotel is probably 3 stars at best. Here’s the pros & cons list… Pros: Waikiki beach is RIGHT there. Great views if you pay xtra for an ocean view. Close to all the eateries. Good size rooms with lots of table space. Cons: LOUD, not the cleanest, horrible AC, resort fees It’s right in front of Waikiki beach so it gets a lot of traffic from cars & tourists. You can hear loud music and different sounds throughout the night. There are stains all over the hotel. From the hotel walls, chipped paint & stains on the doors, and even worse inside the hotel rooms… Our room still had the prior guests facial hair in and around our sink with stains around the faucet. (Was very happy I had disinfecting wipes with me) The rooms feel so hot & muggy. Even with the AC lowered and running at 65 degrees, it is not enough. There are hotels less than 5 mins from here that do not charge resort fees and only $40 parking/night. Although the hotel may be cheaper the resort fees & parking fees will rack up. My advice? Spend a little more on other hotels that don’t charge resort fees because it’ll end up being the same amount of $$ in the end.

The hotel was decent, not 4 star quality. You could tell the room has not been detailed cleaned in a long time, everything is outdated. Cleaning staff was somewhat rude and front desk staff were very kind accommodating. Location was amazing

It was a great hotel experience. Rooms cleaned daily, incredible food at their restaurant, live music poolside in the late afternoon, along with happy hour, straight across the road from Waikiki beach and they provided free beach, chairs, and towels to take with you. Were provided with some white lovely slippers which I have brought with me to other locations after this stay. A great place to rest your head after 11 1/2 hour flight. Close to the action so you don’t need to rent a car. You can either walk to all of the close by shops and beach or Uber if you really need to if it’s a bit out of reach. Well recommended and not terribly expensive compared to the rest of the spots. We stayed on other islands.
