Fantastic family stay at the tower!
I can’t say enough about this property. We had a two bedroom, two bathroom, oceanfront view condo fir five of us including three teens. The tower is literally steps from the beach with a private beachside entrance. The building itself is beautiful. Free valet parking and welcome gifts on arrival. The unit had a fully stocked kitchen. The tower is next door to Morimotos if you are an Iron Chef fan! Beautiful, large balcony facing the beach. From here we were able to walk all of Waikiki Beach within minutes. So many restaurants and shops! We could be on the beach from our unit in under five minutes. Cleaning service daily. Bathrooms very nice as well. Fantastic service. For a family of five this was cheaper than two hotel rooms on the beach and offered so much more. Just a perfect location. Highly recommend!

Central Waikiki location, spacious accommodations and friendly staff
This property is located mid-beach in Waikiki and has terrific views of the ocean from well appointed and spacious rooms. Ours was a 2 bedroom/2 bath with a sleeper sofa. It fit our group of 6 (2 adults and 4 teens/20's) well since we could escape to the beautiful big balcony if needed. Having a full kitchen made it easy to be COVID conscious and eat meals in. There are many tasty and authentic take-out/delivery options nearby as well. The staff are super friendly and relaxed. The parking is free and though you currently have to reserve time at the pool and BBQ, it is well managed and the areas are thoroughly cleaned regularly. We really enjoyed our time there and hope to return on a future trip to Oahu.

Best service, best location, and great view from the spacious balcony
This condo resort has best service. If you need anything, staff would take care of it immediately. We could not connect/watch cable TV, one phone call and within 5 minutes maintenance crew knocked at the door, same as refrigerator excessive ice accumulation issue, and the request for a scale to weigh our luggage. The location of the hotel is perfect, across from the beach with calm water for swimming and further out you see hundreds of surfers. Restaurants and fast food are just around the corner. The best value rooms are ocean front XX01 and XX02 for 180% view facing the ocean where XX is floor number, prefer floor 19th or a little higher for non-obstruction view. This hotel memorable amenity is the Toto Washlet smart toilet, which is so wonderful. Personal health fitness and yoga room are also very nice.

The manager on shift during the day Michelle I believe, was very nice and tried to accommodate us when we arrived and was very displeased with the poor condition and cleanliness of our room in comparison to the 5 star room my family member was assigned and we were paying the same amount booked on the same day for the same time spand. Michelle then explained each unit was privately owned but there should be standard requirements for rental. Beyond visible crumbs on the floor and the twin beds push together to form a king, the furniture and appliances was dated and in poor condition. We rented a 1 br suite with a kitchen for 7 days, thinking we would have 2 tvs only to find out it was only 1 small tv in the living room unable to view from the bedroom The manager allowed me to see about 4 other rooms and none of which were of any improvement but we settle with a unit that had 2 tv’s for the first night with an option to view another unit the next day, only to realize that night the curtains had so many holes in it from dry rot. Of course the second day we change rooms and we were back to 1 tv, food left in the fridge from previous person, kitchen and bathroom floor not swept or mopped after we were told by management the room would be inspected after the maid service before giving us the key. The sofa sank to the frame if you sat on it and more dated and poor condition furniture. Visible accumulation of dust to baseboard trim, air condition unit and TV. On the second day when I called the front desk to report additional issues, Michelle was gone and the clerk who appeared to be African American like myself, was very rude and voiced on the phone, “let me stop you right there, and let you complain to the manager’s boss” and proceeded to transfer me to someone else. Not a good experience and if anyone chooses to book there request room 3211 (the suite my sister had) It’s top quality! All the others can’t be trusted!

Room still had dust on all table counters. Daily maid service was slow- they would come at 4:55pm when we were already gone majority of the day . stay still felt dirty even with daily cleaning service. They also gave me an unrenovated room which did not reflect what I booked online and did not accommodate for it

The Aston Waikiki Beach Tower is a very nice hotel for families. The units are 2-BR 2-Ba, nice for a family. There is a washer-dryer, dishwasher, a large fridge, and a full kitchen. AC worked very well as did WiFi (important for kids nowadays). The units all have balconies. It's important to pay the extra to get a high floor. I think the lower floors have obstructed views. In August, we had great sunset views from our balcony. Our unit had both beach and mountain views. The location was excellent. It's literally across the street for the beach (the hotel provides beach towels). The beach area is protected by a seawall and it's relatively shallow, good for the novice swimmers. The wall is home to quite a bit of fish so it's a decent snorkel spot. We saw puffers, an eel, and several schools of fish at low tide. There is a shower near one entrance to rinse off. It's a plus and a minus - the hotel is on the main Waikiki strip of restaurants and shops. There will be crowds, but there are many good dining options including many good food malls (e.g. Stix Asia). We liked Momosan across the street, Udon Yama, and Ginza Bairin to name a few. There is a McD and a Kai coffee downstairs where many guests get their breakfasts. The hotel is only 7-8 miles to the airport and has good access to eastern Oahu and the highways to the north. I highly recommend a car for Oahu. The hotel provides valet for one car. They're pretty quick and very friendly. The front desk staff were great. Housekeeping was good but they come late at times (after 4 pm). Security is good. You need a card for the elevator and there's always someone at the entrance. There's a safe in each room. The hotel isn't perfect. For one, it's not really a resort though it charges a resort fee. They have activities but they're all in the middle of the day. The hotel is expensive, but considering that it's basically two hotel rooms, the prices are a good value considering the service and the location. The hotel pool is quite small. The shallow beach across the street is basically a huge pool. It's not a "quiet" area, but it's super-convenient. All in all, my family would choose this hotel again.

The building is old, but it’s kept very clean, and renovated throughout. The view is great and location is convenient, and the staff were very helpful and warm. We had a pleasant stay, and would recommend to people who’d like to stay in Waikiki.

We have just finished our stay at the Residence and had a wonderful time. Stayed here 7 days very sad to leave. The staff were gorgeous and made our stay. They were so very helpfull and always with a smile. I originally chose a 1 bedroom , 1 bathroom with Ocean views we had 3 people. When I rang to confirm the lovely operator said the rates had changed and were cheaper so we changed our apartment for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. Our first apartment “oceanfront” 1504 was on the western side of the building about the 15 th floor ... mmm not a good unit. Unfortunately if you are lower than the 15 th you will have units looking into your apartment . We asked to be relocated for I wasn’t comfortable and the staff were very obliging. The staff were so lovely we were relocated to the Southern side of the building . No building in front, or behind , more modern units great layout and even though we were on the lower floor room 501 we loved it ,still quiet. Any apartment on the Southern side numbers end with a 1. The Residence is right across from the beach fantastic views and the Dukes statue. PENTHOUSE -I was very interested in seeing the other layouts so staff showed me the Penthouses which are 37 th thru to 39 th floor. Wow just beautiful. Modern, great layout and the an unbelievable view . The main bedroom faces the view at the front and has an enormous bedroom with a free standing bath. Large kitchen and lounge room area. Worth the money. Dishwasher, internal Laundry large fridge, sofa bed if you need it. An island bench and a very large lounge room all facing the view. I would recommend this hotel anytime. ... certainly tip the staff they deserve it . 😂👍 enjoy
