Travelled with my daughter overnight from another island, My daughter had to have surgery early morning. Location was perfect but even better was the staff.Heidi was super helpful and made sure everything was perfect during our stay. Everyone else at the frontdesk was also very helpful. For sure will recommend this place may it be for leisure or business it is very welcoming. close to places to eat and city bus stops right in front of hotel.I really wanted to meet Heidi in person but unfortunately didn't get the change. So hereby Mahalo from my daughter and I for making our trip less stressful.
After deciding to extend my 2-week trip to Hawaii for an additional month, I picked the Courtyard for a month-long stay in December. I made this decision because of the value (a good long-term rate & no resort fees!) and the location, which is in walking distance to the beaches and the main corridors of Waikiki. What exceeded my expectation were the front desk staff (shout out to Suki, Larissa, and Heidy) and their level of customer service, professionalism, and friendliness. I felt welcomed every day as I came and went from the hotel. They were also very accommodating to any requests (especially for the many times I left my key card in my room) and can be relied on for local suggestions. When there was a power outage one day (which is out of their control), I could see from afar that they were maintaining their composure and trying their best with hotel guests. The valet were very courteous and quick as well. As for the room itself, I had a deluxe room with a king-bed on the 17th floor which included a fridge and microwave. The room was facing the mountain, so I had a great view of the sunrise every morning and the crazy fireworks on NYE. I do hear some noises from outside and from the hallways, but it didn't bother me all that much. Due to COVID protocols, housekeeping came by every 5th night of my stay. Whenever I needed additional towels or amenities, I just made the request on the Bonvoy app and the items would appear at my door shortly after. Great stay overall!…
Outstanding staff and location. Heidy (front desk) helped me check in early and always had an upbeat/positive demeanor. Fantastic price, considering the location. Within walking distance of the beach and many restaurants /shops. I would absolutely recommend another visit. Oh! The coffee and sandwich shop in the lobby are worth your time too!
We stayed at this hotel for 11 nights. The hotel experience was made that much better by the very professional, helpful and friendly staff - in particular, Heidy (manager) and Marissa, who always seemed to be working at the front desk morning and night but always with a big smile on her face. The hotel is perfectly located just a couple blocks from the beach and all the action on Kalakaua Street, which made finding parking very convenient. Facilities are adequate, not too luxurious, but a very good value for the price. Rooms and common areas are clean with all proper precautions taken for COVID. We were lucky enough to be on 12th floor facing Kuhio St., so we had a view of the ocean in the distance, which was nice. Traffic noise on Kuhio is pretty loud but we were willing to deal with it for the view. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.…
I've been staying here a few weeks as a COVID refugee and I've been very pleased. (I even brought more than a dozen friends here to join me for a birthday party.) The staff is super-friendly, and when I had a problem (damned WiFi) they worked very hard to solve it. The rates (I've been in a one-bedroom suite) are very reasonable, especially when you consider there is NO RESORT FEE. When you think it through, it makes a heck of a lot of sense to staying here. Enjoy!
