DO NOT stay here!!! I repeat DO NOT stay here! First of all the rooms are nothing like the pictures advertise. When we arrive from a long 11 hour flight we went to our room and it was so so dirty and it was not what we had scene on their website we went to speak with the front desk and they did say that the next day we can check into another room. We asked for a extra chair to sit on in the room and they brought in the balcony furniture full of bird poop on it. It was so disgusting. We went back down to tell front desk they did apologize but this is now a horrible horrible start to our vacation. The housekeeping in this place is really bad. The next day we did go to a better room but we still had to keep asking for towels because housekeeping is very bad. We then made the best of it but in the last day the AC was not working and I know that’s out of there control but when I asked front desk what’s going on the gentlemen told me that there’s someone working on it and he apologized for my inconvenience he was good but then at midnight when we went back to sleep I asked before heading up if the AC was fixed being that I had asked at 4pm and they were working on it so I figured by midnight it’ll be fixed. Front desk said no I told them that at this point everything about this hotel is horrible I requested a fan and he said they gave it to other people they were very horrible customer service they literally told me the only thing they can do is put me in the hotel next door like how is that the solution they never apologized and they seemed to not care at all on how it was affecting me and my group the next morning when we checked out we did get a very nice gentleman who compensated us for our inconvenience. Still DONT STAY HERE!!! The customer service is not that great some are amazing others are so rude even sarcastic and shouldn’t be working in hospitality cause they don’t know how to talk to people. The housekeeping is Horrible! The rooms are also pretty outdated and not well kept. They do offer 3 beach rentals per room per day which was pretty nice and very convenient. And it’s right across the street from the beach and the location is really good your close to everything and you can walk everywhere but I still wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. So stay at your own risk!!…
The Park Shore Hotel is an excellent place to stay. We had a room with an ocean view and it was spectacular. The location is fantastic - directly across from the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. We made daily use of the beach chairs, surf boards etc available through the hotel. It is at the Zoo end away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip but within easy walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back.
We finally all got vacation time together !! This will be my granddaughter’s first trip to Hawaii so we’re all very excited !!! I was born in Hilo so my granddaughter talks a lot about going to Hawaii. So glad we were able to get rooms here. The location is great ! Most of all, the staff here at The Park Shore is so friendly, helpful and courteous !!! Makes me want to come back every time.
The location of this hotel couldn't be more perfect! It was located directly across from the beach ( like a 30 second walk) and within walking distance of a ton of shopping and restaurants! The view was just amazing and the staff was super attentive! I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are looking for amazing views, wanting to have immediate access to the beach and be within walking distance of of most shopping and restaurants! We will definitely definitely be back!!
First, the good: great view of the ocean, excellent location, friendly staff, great response from maintenance, comfortable room but lacking a few things. The not so good: we had to call maintenance 4 times to fix our air conditioner. On the last night there, the guy finally figured out the underlying problem! Housekeeping comes every other day. This would not be an issue but, for 2 people we were given 2 towels. There were no hooks or any place to hang your wet towel! There is a coffee machine and we were provided exactly 2 paper cups, which were so flimsy you had to chug your coffee before the cup fell apart. We asked for 2 doubles and got a king and a hide a bed. They offered to move us but who wants to pack and unpack on vacation? Not to mention, wasting for your room to be ready! With the fold out bed there was no where to sit- no other chairs, desk, etc. You pay a resort fee and can get beach chairs and umbrellas at a place around the corner. The problem is that you are also competing with several other hotels who use the same shop to provide the beach equipment. This means you really need to be there soon after it opens or they will run out of chairs and umbrellas. Housekeeping does not change the sheets and often would forget to come without a reminder later in the day. It just seems like there are basic things that a hotel should provide. All in all it was fine, but these little annoyances add up. I likely would not stay here again.…
The hotel was a delight to stay in - very helpful and great attitudes from the front desk, condierge and other staff. Rooms were very nice overall. Hotel was just across the street from the beach and we had great views. Location was very convenient to Diamond Head, was across the other street from the zoo, had two ABC stores attached and a great restaurant on the second floor. Ample other places to dine were adjoining or close by. Pick up for trolley was in short walking distance for other destinations. Would definitely book there again.
This hotel had amazing views and customer service! Was pretty much walkable to anywhere we wanted to go and if not we just got a Zipcar. While the hotel is a little dated, everything was clean. Chaz, Eric, and Randy were all so helpful and friendly! We will definitely stay here next time we return to Oahu! We stayed on the 15th floor in corner room.
Stay there fir a conference. The hotel is very well located near the beach and central Waikiki. The staff was very friendly. Rooms are spacious but need renovation and furniture. Had to ask an extra chair. No restaurant inside (only a sushi expensive place). The overall Experience was goos
We stayed here for over a week in June 2022, and absolutely loved it. The room is comfortable, the staff friendly, and the beach is literally across the street. We took advantage of dining at Lulu's frequently, loved being able to rent gear from Beachcandy, and it was a close walking distance to everything in Waikiki. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip through. If you go to the top floor you have a gorgeous view of the beach and Diamond Head. We still watch the beachcam frequently as well.
Stayed at the Park Shore the last week of November/ first week of December 2021. (Apologies for not doing the review sooner.) It was a fantastic trip. We paid for an upgrade when we originally booked and had a room with a fabulous view of Diamondhead and the beach. The room is quite simple, but nice and clean. The bathroom even had a granite counter top (not that it really matters). The location of the hotel is amazing, you can walk to almost anything and the beach is directly across the Street. Hotel staff were also great. They have coffee in the lobby in the morning, and to my surprise the coffee was actually very good. The hotel is also located next to two ABC stores, so if you need a cold bevy for your room its only steps away. It's not a fancy, or glitzy hotel, but it was very nice, and I would classify it as a solid 3 star star hotel (with a nice lobby). We really enjoyed our stay there, and would definitely stay there again. Pic: is the view from our room.…
