I stayed there while making a visit to see my daughter who is stationed there with the military. Great location. Close to beach, shopping, and restaurants. Hotel provided beach towels for guests. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff.
Great location, friendly staff, good service, clean rooms. Restaurant is good with indoor dining with precautions. There is a Starbucks that is open 6a to noon if you prefer. There is a mini-mart for the essentials. Rooms are clean, make sure you schedule service a day in advance as it is no longer automatic (due to the current situation presumably). Rooms have a fridge but no microwave. There is a laundry in the building which takes credit cards (so you don’t have to pack for every day of your stay). There is only one in the building with three + three washers and dryer so it does get busy and a second laundry might be useful. Enjoyed the stay, good views of the beach and great views of the mountains especially from the higher floors.
Fabulous views of Waikiki with a wide choice of places to eat and drink . Rooms are quite pleasant not luxury. Service was ok. Major complaint was lining up. Line ups for the lift, lines up for revolting Starbucks coffee. Line ups for restraints and cafes, line ups to check in and out. Having said that great place for a holiday and cocktails at sunset on Waikiki is unbelievable.
I really enjoyed the location but the room was interesting. As I started to pack my things away in my suitcase, I noticed a ball of dust fly out as it was left open during the entire stay. I started to notice more and more that the room was extremely dusty. As I sat watching tv on the bed I started to notice dust bunnies just flying around the room. I actually believe the room made my allergies worse. Sneezing constantly and then waking up extremely congested. During checkout I let the front desk know that the only complaint was the room was extremely dusty, didn’t really get much of a reaction, just brushed it away. So when I found out I had to stay an extra night due to weather, I knew I couldn’t stay here again. I decided to go with Hampton Inn at Kapolei. There was no sneezing or waking up congested in the morning. No dust flying around the room. I will definitely look at alternate locations to stay at when I’m in Honolulu again in December. …
Last minute solo trip: Amazing location - walking to restaurants plenty of shops, across international market- that holds plenty more food and shopping. Several bus routes( connecting you everywhere if you are not renting a car. The beach is a blocks away- 5-10 mins walk. Stay here if you are going to be out in excursions, at the beach or exploring the city. You are in the middle of everything. The room has all you need to sleep, take shower and take mid day rest. It’s not a resort , but you have all you need with a moderate price. The good room 1565 -comfortable bed -sunrising from my bed -high power pressure shower -fridge and microwave worked The issues room 1565 -The shower door was stuck and when it open, it made horrible sound. -only two lights were working - 1 in the bathroom and 1 in the bedroom area. The room is “clean” - general cleaning, but if you start deep looking under lamps, beds or toilets. You will see build up. But that’s if you really look. House keeping do an amazing job on the day to day cleaning. They are also super nice an attentive if you meet them out in the hallways. Laundry room- Good, but with a few out order machines . Front desk personnel were welcoming and help me out with my questions. I requested the digital card- no need to stop in at front desk . By far the best amenities. The issue with restaurant personnel Miss communication led to me not able to use my gold member food credits. Try the first day and then after the interaction, I decided to just find food somewhere else for the rest the week. I already mention on my hotel review, hopefully this doesn’t happen to any other guests. Good location with good price My rate was 200ish a night I believe I received a 200 a night level hotel. Good, with minor issues, issues that were not bad enough to complain on the spot. Overall I would stay here again .…
Beautiful hotel great service from staff only issue was the pigeons on our balcony but view was amazing was close to the beach literally a block away, and night time go to the pool/hot tub area bartender on site plenty of room to lay around as well.
This was our first time in Hawaii and we stayed at this hotel for 10 nights. We really enjoyed our stay, the room was very clean, the views were lovely, the service was great especially to Dexter at the front desk who was always warm, welcoming and so helpful with recommendations. We used the valet service for the first and last part of our stay and the team there do a really good job and are very friendly and attentive. The only negative point I could really states is the surfboard rentals which is a part of the amenities fees were not suitable for adults. We only tried to use this once and the Costco board provided was delaminating and wouldn’t suit any adults trying to surf. The location is very close to the beach and is about 900m from the main strip of shops. The restaurant downstairs serves good food also…
Hotel needs updating. Decor and carpeting obviously has not been changed in awhile. Carpet felt sticky and dirty and could use new carpet or a thorough cleaning. Overall the breakfast menu is very limited at the 24/7 restaurant. Although you can request daily room cleaning, the every 4 days should be changed to everything 3 days at most automatically. Trash cans in rooms are ridiculously small and impractical. Would not particularly stay again given other choices.
Check on was terrible, Frills didn’t welcome or asked for any ID, only asked for credit card for $535 without any smiles and no explaintion,, Carolyn was amazing, very professional and polite, when we had to book the extra night , she kept us in the same room, check out was extremely enjoyable with Carolyn,
My wife and I make this trip to Hawaii every year, but it was stopped at the start of the pandemic. When travels are finally made safe, we decided to embark on this trip. We did not expect Hilton would treat us with such manner, insanely nice. Thank you.
