The only perks I would give this hotel is the location, it had a full kitchen (which we didn't use) and that they give you 1 free Mai Tai when checking in. The bed was extremely firm and made sounds as if it still had its plastic wrap still on it. Our bathroom wasn't in the

Aloha! We are very sorry about the experience you had with the private AIRBNB unit you reserved at the Waikiki Grand Hotel. The Front Desk is run by Castle Hotels & Resorts. The Castle Waikiki Grand manages a certain percentage of the units in the Waikiki Grand. The other percentage are live-in owners, long term tenants, and private AIRBNB units. Please look into reserving with Castle Hotels & Resorts and the Castle Waikiki Grand Hotel to get the Marriott feeling you mentioned. We do offer amenities daily with the Castle Waikiki Grand. Mahalo!

We booked though expedia to stay for three nights. We had to pay about $110 USD cleaning fee on arrival. The room was not serviced at all while we were there.

I was just reviewing the hotel, and also a review of our room this time. There are great rooms with a zoo/mountain/beach view but you would have to do your research. We have had great results with vrbo - and one not good airbnb. One person on vrbo we have dealt with has 2 places that have great views. The hotel also has their own rooms, no meal plan, we like the owner owned to have our own kitchen. But as I said in my review beware of #506 Konatsu's place off airbnb.

free parking?
No it is not free. There is parking at the hotel if you are registered at $17 per day. Secure and assigned parking is at a premium in this area so if you want an assigned parking spot at this hotel you need to contact the front desk and make arrangements for your Holiday period. I suggest you due this well in advance as the parking for the Hotel is limited.
