We didn't stay at the hotel but visited the hotel and grounds twice. We had reservations here but we were told the pool was under renovation and not sure when it would open so we cancelled and went somewhere else. Well, the pool was open and the facilities are fabulous. We made reservations already for next year. Beautiful buildings and...

Lovely hotel for vacationing but not the best for traveling for work. The restaurants don't open until 6:30 am so if you need food before 6:30 you're stuck with bagels from the Starbucks stand or stuck trying to find something near by. That was the only real drawback. The staff, hotel, and location are all great otherwise.

I visited the Hale Koa with my sister and my father for 7 days. This trip had been planned for months to visit my daughter, son in law and grand kids (military family, recently stationed in HI). We had a partial ocean view with a balcony. The room had everything we needed, daily housekeeping was very good. Tiny coffee pot,...

It's not a five star resort, but it's an excellent value on Waikiki, the location is great, and there is much to do within walking distance. Waikiki is very crowded, but the Hale Koa has enough green space around it to cut down on the crowds. One of the pools is open to both guests and those with a military...

We stayed in the Hale Koa 2 nights after spending time at Bellows AFS prior to boarding our ship, Radiances of the Seas. I believe this is our 6th time to stay at the Hale Koa. We always enjoy our stay. My husband was disappointed that the Koko Café no longer serves SOS. We ate one dinner at the buffet....

First let me say this isn't a 5star high end resort. This is a military hotel with excellent amenities. It sits right on Waikiki beach. There is an Exchange there too. It's not super big but has the basics. Bathing suits are around $50-100 whereas swim shorts are $19.99. Men's T-Shirts are cheap too. We visited almost daily. I wouldn't...

we come here every year, the breakfasts are great. The beach views are unbeatable and there is so much to do at the hotel. We love to surf off Waikiki beach right there in front of the hotel . We cannot wait to come back

This is a great facility in a great location. The on site Luau is wonderful. The room is comfortable with nice partial ocean view, which is really pleasant for morning coffee, coffee maker with gourmet coffee in the room. The Hale Koa has wonderful gardens with a nice pool and easy access to the beach.

Luau was also really good, honoring military... decent food and better show. Parking is across the street in the deck. Get ticket validated. Beach is nice & bar is right there close to it. You can rent chairs & umbrellas. They also have free cups of water and a snack stand by the bar. Get there eArly for front row...
