My wife and I got a great rate online and stayed for a night. Nice shaded free parking across the street. We were greeted by Nick, the innkeeper who was friendly and informative about everything inside and around Newport. You do need to take your shoes off, which some people may not like, but it's something we do at home... More

Nick and Brian gave us a twelve bedroom house for ten days, fully furnished with precious antiques, room for over twenty of us for a family reunion, and they disappear. They sent in the housekeepers a couple of times, but that was it. If this had been my house I would have been hovering constantly. They are the consummate innkeepers... More

Great B&B, clean and comfortable. The innkeepers were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast so delicious. The property is well maintained and they really care. The backyard is great with a fireplace. Very relaxing visit. Our first time and we will always stay here

My partner and I just returned from a very nice stay at the Architect's Inn. The common interior areas of the Inn as well as the room we occupied are decorated beautifully and in keeping with time period of when the house was built. Although formal, the place gave me a sense of home. The Innkeepers Nick and Brian were... More

A luxurious getaway in my own state. A beautiful place that harkens back to an earlier time the Vanderbilts and the Astors held court. Ideally located near town, yet very close to the beach, it is the best of both worlds. Each room is beautifully furnished and chock full of antiques. How nice is it to just lay on the... More

I had the pleasure of staying at the Inn for the weekend while on a work trip and everything about it was amazing! From the beautiful decor, to the delicious food to the even more amazing owners that made us feel right at home. I didn't want to leave! We went down for a work trip and the owners accommodated... This is my second trip to the Architect's Inn. This time I really put these guys through the ringer. I planned a corporate trip for 40, (Yes 40) people. But the Inn isn't that big, you say? You are absolutely right. Nick, the owner, orchestrated 2 other Inns for us. One being their sister property, Inn Bliss. I also requested... More

Words can't do this charming B&B justice! The house was was unbelievable and really echoed the charm and history of Newport. Brian and Nick made me feel welcome from the moment we pulled up and gave us lots of great recommendations of things to visit and check out in the area. Brian made us breakfast every morning before we we... More

Home interior was historic and comfortable. Booked with friends and family with the reasonable expectation of 10 like-kind bedrooms. Regretably we found only 8, which required one of our party to actually sleep on the sofa in the library. When we presented the owners with what we presumed was an innocent misrepresentation we were dismissed and argued with. I've had... More
