What a treat. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about everything Rhode Island. Location is perfect. Parking a plus. Tea and breakfast were delicious. All the common spaces add to the charm. Room 2 was lovely. Gas fireplace a romantic plus.

Room 2 is one of my favorite rooms with the four windows, high ceilings and of course, the fireplace. We appreciate you sharing this review with other travelers! We hope that you find your way back! This B&B is well located for the visitor which is right on the main street of Thames. The whole place is beautiful and our room was no exception. We two women shared a large room with 2 beds and it was certainly comfortable and roomy enough. Downstairs they have several seating areas like smaller living rooms where you can read,...

Dear Janette A., Thank you for the kind review! We have two rooms that have two beds and they are always in high demand. We are happy that room worked out well with your travel needs. Great word of caution about the tea; many dinners have been foiled! We hope your travels bring you back this way. Happy Holidays! Regards,...

From check in to check out, we couldn't have asked for better service, food or friendly staff. This was our first stay at the Francis Malbone House Inn and I can assure you that we will return. Our room was perfect. King size bed, fire place, and walk in shower. There is also three common areas with fire places too....

The Francis Malbone House offers close proximity to the Newport waterfront attractions that one can leave behind once the door to the Inn closes behind you. Once inside you will find an elegant, well maintained, and friendly atmosphere graced by magnificent woodwork, historic yet comfortable furnishings, and mouth watering afternoon tea spread with sweets and savories with the attention of...

We have been visiting the Malbone Inn for several years and it just keeps getting better! Afternoon tea is not to be missed -- quite the spread of sweet and savory goodies; breakfast is also delicious. The Innkeepers are so gracious and always take the time to engage in lengthy conversations. Malbone is truly an upscale inn with a very...

You will not find a more perfect place. The service and positive energy here is a truly healing experience. Holidays can be difficult for me due to the sudden losses in me and my partner's lives. One of the best B&B we have ever stayed in. The owners have created an environment of warmth and comfort that make the guests feel very welcome. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I had been looking for a simple B&B but this popped up at the top of my search so I dug deeper. We took the Counting House suite, an old doctor's office it turns out, attached to the main building. It was simply extraordinary - far more than I expected even for the price. The bed was comfortable and King-size,...
