We are so lucky and happy to stay in Historic hill inn. Its located in the central of Newport downtown quite and safe neighborhood. The host couple are very kind to provide hospitality and information for local must see sights and restaurants. We will come back and stay here again after the scheduled modification.

Donna, the home owner, was a wonderful host. After unpacking she gave us a run down of the area. Having never been to Newport before she gave us a quick history lesson. She then explained what was a MUST to see and do and also a good order to take in the sites. Donna marked sightseeing area on a large...

Richard and Donna were very kind and helpful during our stay. After we got settled, Donna sat me down and gave me the rundown on what to see and do in Newport. They were always on hand if we needed anything. The B&B has a lived-in feel and is good value for money. The room was comfortable, with so many...

Newport exceeded all of our expectations as a young couple and we will definitely be back for a longer stay next time. We have already decided to go back and stay at this B&B. Facilities are excellent and our room was small, but this was to be expected and it was extremely comfortable. However the best thing about our trip,...

Stayed for one night on our visit to New England. Was made to feel home from home. The breakfast was great with cinnamon muffins to die for. Scrambled eggs and bacon too. Couldn't have been friendlier. Would recommend it to anyone.

I stayed at this place few weeks ago. The shower/toilet/sink was 3 ft away from the bed. I couldn't open the window and it was very hot in the room and I couldn't control the heat. The TV remote didn't work. There was only one glass in the room even though we were two people. The bed was not that...

Please allow me to correct the inaccuracies contained in this review. The shower/toilet sink is not 3 feet away from the bed. The bathroom/bedroom are not all together. They are in 2 separate rooms. Please visit our wedsite & take the video tour to see for yourself. The reviewer stayed in the Queen/Jacuzzi room. There is no problem with the...

I treated my daughter to her first stay at a B&B after graduating college, and was so happy to have selected the Historic Hill Inn. We had a wonderful breakfast with couples from Germany, Nova Scotia and North Carolina. We enjoyed getting local tips from the owners and learning about their journey to Newport. The room was very comfortable, and...

This place is charming for people who appreciate historical New England. We stayed here again a few weeks ago and our room was even nicer then it was the first time. The hosts were extremely accommodating to our special needs - we came to spend the Jewish sabbath in Newport and logistics led to us arriving within minutes of the...

We stayed at this inn for one night. That was more than enough. On the pro side, the proprietor Richard, was pleasent and assisted us with directions to the local eatery. The location was excellant and restaurants were within walking distance. The inn is situated in a very quiet neighborhood. On the con side, when we first arrived, we could...

The property is very nice. Pay attention to the room sizes. The owners are very upfront about the size of the rooms and two of them are a little small. We would have been very happy with the Queen room if we had been on a car trip. We were on a motorcycle trip so with all the gear we...
