Loved the room! It was so cute how they incorporated a little dog bed/hotel. Great size, comfortable bed. The breakfast across the street was also incredible. The only issue would be for someone who couldn’t take stairs as ours was a climb, but other than that we absolutely loved the stay. Also the location was amazing. We were able to find parking right outside (which I think is only because it was off season), and it was just a short walk to incredible restaurants and the little downtown. Would definitely come here again with our pup!

My partner and I came for the week with our pup. The hotel was very clean which I loved during this time, walking distance to many restaurants/attractions, and the innkeepers were so accommodating/welcoming. Breakfast every morning and a cute little patio to sit outside. The one thing I was disappointed about was that our AC did not work properly and it was quite uncomfortable at times since it was very hot out. I was kind of worried about leaving my pup in the room during the day for a few hours which made me worry while I was out on vacation. The innkeeper did try to accommodate us with a new but smaller room but everything was unpacked already so it was inconvenient. She gave us a fan which helped us a little. This took away from the 5 star review. The room was spacious and nice. Towel rack was broken but that is minimal. My advice to the hotel is to replace that AC, customers are paying you a lot of money to have a comfortable room and a good nights sleep. If it wasn't for that, the hotel was great. Thank you for everything.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paws on Pelham! Very nice accommodations, including super comfortable bed, well appointed bath, bedroom, sitting area and above average complimentary breakfast. The location was perfect as we could easily walk to wharf area, town, cliff walk and beach. Staff was very nice and accommodating. It goes without saying their super clean accommodations and Covid - conscious precautions were very much appreciated and eased our own anxiety regarding traveling during these unsettling times.

You walk in to a paw rug and you know the dogs will be happy. Peanut Butter oatmeal treats, dog bag carrier and cute bandana welcomed us in the room filled with dog themed decor. Comfy bed for people and a pull down one for dogs. Great place in the back to take dogs for their quick business. Didn't get up to the "Ruff Roof" as a bit cold but will definitely go if I visit in warmer weather. Dog friendly park up the street.

We will definitely be back for our annual trip! We were met at the door by the Innkeeper, Alyson. She had homemade peanut butter dog cookies which our two dogs loved! Our Boys felt at home! Each room was very clean with a dog bed. Our dogs did not seem to notice any dog smell in the room from the previous guests. The theme throughout the house was "Dog"! The breakfast was substantial and was designed for "to go" in the event that you have a dog in your room who doesn't want to be alone. Our dogs were comfortable in the room, so that we could enjoy the dining area, the wallpaper is all dog motif. Check out the coffee maker! The house itself is within walking distance to downtown, and just up the hill is a nice park to walk the dogs. This Inn is comfortable, friendly, and clean.

Had the best time at Paws on Pelham. Since the booking, they were super responsive and accommodating. Once we got there, Allison took great care of us, super gracious and friendly. The inn is ridiculously cute. All pet themed but in a classy way, with lots of adorable details. It’s very well kept and discovered that it is a historical property completely renovated, and you can tell, since the place is almost brand new. Regarding the Covid situation, we felt completely safe, since they had hand sanitizers at the entrance, and all the staff and other guests were good about wearing a mask. Actually, except that detail, it felt completely normal. Breakfast was very good, always a warm option, fruits, granola, yogurt and a state of art latte machine, with all kinds of options, including decaf. My husband said he drank the best cappuccino of his life. No kidding. The whole place is extremely charming and new, my dog was completely at home, and his morning walks were among all the historic colonial buildings. And even if you don’t own a dog, the central location of the inn, it’s just perfection. A quick walk to all the restaurants, shops and marinas. We definitely have plans to go back in August, and I wanted to thank all the management and staff for the amazing mini vacation we had.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Paws on Pelham! Our room was beautifully decorated with the most comfortable bed and dog essentials for our pup (bowls and a dog bed). Our dog felt immediately at home and thoroughly enjoyed all the dog treats provided in the front room! The human enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and the convenient location of the inn; it was so easy to walk everywhere in town. Highly recommend this outstanding inn!

We loved our stay at Paws on Pelham. The inn is in a perfect location— a quiet block just a few blocks away from all the action at the harbor and less than a block away from a dog-friendly park. It’s charming and full of character but with modern amenities inside. The rooms are updated and chic. We always drag a crate with us whenever we bring our dogs to a hotel because there’s inevitably something we don’t want them to get into in the room. We didn’t even set it up here because the room was so thoughtfully appointed for dogs. Our older guy loved the Murphy dog bed and we appreciated the dog dishes and may (we didn’t have to improvise with a hand towel for a change). Room 10 has a huge bathroom with stand alone shower and a glorious bathtub. Allison, the innkeeper was gracious and helpful and out my mind at ease about leaving the dogs in the room without me. Everybody there was a dog-owner so no one seemed to mind a little barking. We highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back.

We stayed here for 3 nights for July 4th weekend and were beyond impressed with the COVID precautions, kindness of the innkeeper Allison, style and decor, as well as the cleanliness of the facilities. The included breakfast was fantastic, the common spaces were plentiful, and we especially loved the “ruff deck” on the roof. We will most definitely be back!!!

Prior to staying at Paws on Pelham, we had never traveled with our pup before, we had never stayed in a bed and breakfast, AND we had never been to Newport. We were excited for the experience, but slightly wary because our pup can get loud sometimes and given the current COVID climate.

Our experience at Paws on Pelham was everything of the sort! The staff were super friendly and made themselves available via phone/text all day. They helped us find activities and dining options that fit us. They even had recommendations on where to park for free around Newport.

Our room came with a designated free parking spot right across the street. And during check in and check our, we idled in front of the b+b.

Breakfast was included with our stay, along with a coffee/espresso machine and ice available 24/7. Given the current COVID climate, breakfast was grab-n-go, but it was still very nice! There was a different breakfast scrambles/sandwich offered every morning, with a tater tot or bread accompaniment. There was also fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, juice, and coffee available.

The accommodations were extremely clean and modern. The whole house seemed newly renovated. The bathroom amenities (Beekman brand) were top notch. And the house has 3 different outdoor areas to sit, relax, and eat with your pup. The occasional bark was inevitable (our dog included), but overall, there was never a point at which I thought the b+b was loud.

We plan to return with or without our pup!

After two nights, our room seemed a bit damp, but once I adjusted the AC to the 'dry' setting from the 'cool' setting, we had no issues. I didn't even need to contact the innkeeper to help us adjust it.

We stayed in Room 9, on the second floor of the house in the back. Occasionally, we heard furniture being moved on the 'rufftop' deck upstairs, but that never bothered us. And the deck was closed from 8pm through the night. We loved that our room had huge windows, opposite facing.
