The Inn is fantastic! The innkeeper Ebony made us feel like we were at home. The place was immaculate - if there wasn't cute dog decor around you would never know it was dog friendly- 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants. A park 1/2 a block away to walk the dog. I would come back even without my dog because it was so cute, charming clean and best location. Beautiful rooftop deck as well.

Property's Favorite Review
We stayed at paws last night for our anniversary and I didn’t want to waste any time writing a review. Lisa, the innkeeper, was a total sweetheart and got in touch with us during the day to let us know we could check in early... I wish we got an earlier start on the road to take advantage! We got there right at 4 and Lisa gave us a tour of the property, with a great sense of humor and welcoming. I felt like I was staying at a friends house! Our dog loved the place as well, and we loved all the pooch touches throughout the building. The doggy Murphy bed?! Hysterical. We can’t wait to return! You get a real appreciation for hospitality in a b&b vs a hotel and I’m so glad we found this place online. I will say, one thing I would suggest to the owners would be to either install ceiling fans or have climate control in the rooms. Our room was really warm throughout the night and we couldn’t figure out how to cool the room without opening the windows... so we both found ourselves waking up in the night due to the heat. It’s a minor issue, as we like a cooler bedroom, but something worth noting. Not worth taking a star away, though!! Thanks Lisa and Paws on Pelham. We will be back!

Paws On Pelham made our trip to Newport amazing! Immaculate inn and rooms; quiet; delicious breakfasts; helpful & friendly staff; and they LOVE dogs! In addition, Paws is just a couple of blocks from the waterfront district in Newport - close to shopping, restaurants, great places to walk with your pup. The staff at Paws was on top of everything from the moment we arrived. We immediately felt welcomed and "a part of the family". AND - the rooms actually LOOK like they do on their website - no "smoke and mirrors"! For a great stay in Newport with your furry sidekicks, do not pass up Paws On Pelham. We will definitely be back!

My husband i and visited Newport for our 15 year wedding anniversary and stayed at Paws on Pelham. Allison, the innkeeper, was waiting for us on the porch when we arrived and, with a huge smile and wave, welcomed us home for the long weekend. We stayed in room 5 and our bulldog, Roxie, made herself right at home. The three breakfasts we had during our stay were filling and SO good! Allison really went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. I appreciated that we had codes to all the doors so we could come and go as we pleased an we rarely heard another guest, or dog, even though the B&B had most, if not all, the rooms booked this weekend. We will absolutely be back if (and when) we visit Newport again. Thank you, Allison!!!
