Welcome to Paws on Pelham, Newport's debut dog-friendly Inn. Paws on Pelham is located on Pelham Street, in the heart of Newport's Historic Hill neighborhood. Our location is ideal for exploring all of Newport's dog-welcoming places. Each of our 13 guest rooms feature an en-suite bathroom, king or queen bed(s) for the humans and a whimsical dog bed for your pup. This place is great. Rooms are very clean and new furniture and carpets on the hardwood floors. Bathrooms are all marble walk in showers - no curtains. Very nice. Sheets and towels are high quality and you can't beat the home made breakfast. The staff is incredibly king and welcoming. I've been coming to Newport twice a month for business and stay here whenever I can. Wifi is strong too. I'm a dog owner and love dogs but I was still worried about noise from dog barking or hair from former pets staying in the room, but I was wrong - I've stayed there 3 times and the rooms are spotless and order free, and I've never heard a dog once even though I see them there. the soundproofing is excelent. Great outdoor space to eat and relax too.

Paws on Pelham really outdid themselves. The rooms were meticulously cleaned. We travelled with 2 dogs and enjoyed Room 12 (1 King and 1 Queens plus a cute dog house carved into the wall). Both dogs and humans enjoyed the space. Check in and check out were easy. Shauna was accommodating as we were able to go in to our room earlier. Breakfast was amazing. We all loved it and plan to return again.

I booked four rooms for my family as we were in Newport for a family wedding. The inn was very comfortable, with king sized beds and modern bathrooms. The water pressure in the shower was outstanding! Each room was a little different, each with it's own unique touches, such as a chair swing and a claw foot bathtub. The rooms were neat and clean and everything worked as advertised. The inn is located in a great spot, just a few blocks away from the main drag with all the shops, restaurants and bars. Unfortunately it rained very heavily for the one and only day we had but we would certainly come back for another visit. The innkeepers were very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. Shout out to Antonio!

This is a must-stay inn for those traveling with their dog! Providing a dog bed and dishes in the room was very special. Room 9 is bright, roomy and comfortable. The inn is very conveniently located within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the harbor. If you are unable to park in front of the inn, parking is provided close by in a reserved spot - very important in Newport!! The staff was friendly and helpful! We enjoyed our stay and will recommend the inn to friends!

Absolutely charming hotel. Clean and comfortable with a beautiful bathroom and lots of sunlight. Yummy hot breakfast and coffee included. You can bring your dog! Cute dog themed wallpaper. Free parking and you can walk to the harbor, shops, and restaurants.

This was the first time we brought our dog on a trip with us and it was AWESOME. The space is clean, stylish, and pup-focused. We stayed in room 1 and we loved the separate living space. The linens and bed was super comfortable and the shower was HUGE. The only teeny critique is that the water pressure was just ok. The innkeeper was such a nice guy and showed us around upon arrival. We loved and and highly recommend!

My husband and I traveled to Newport for our anniversary and having pets they must be included. This Inn is the perfect place to stay. Yours fur friends are very welcome, just blocks away from the wharf and restaurants. The Inn has a list of places to eat outside where your pets are welcome.

Paws on Pelham is the cutest bed and breakfast I’ve ever stayed in. I love that it is not only dog-friendly, but it is geared toward dogs being treated as guests. The room was immaculate and beautiful. The customer service was excellent. An innkeeper even reached out to me via text before I arrived and offered early check-in. The inn is also conveniently located only a few blocks from the town with all the restaurants, stores, and attractions. This was the perfect place to stay when visiting Newport, with or without a pet. I can’t wait to go back!

My family and I spent a fantastic night at Paws on Pelham with our corgi. The bedrooms were comfortable and included dog beds which was a nice surprise ; the bathrooms were clean and modern. Breakfast was cooked fresh and was absolutely delicious. The team was very welcoming too, and provided a space downstairs with free hot drinks. There isn't much to add as everything went perfectly well, thank you Paws on Pelham! We'll be sure to stop by again next time we're around.
