We recently stayed at the Vanderbilt Grace for a two-night stay in Newport. Checking in was easy and everything went smoothly. We were shown to our room which was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location which was a huge plus. We could walk to everything within two minutes of leaving the hotel property. On the positive...

After a day in Newport decided to have afternoon tea at Vanderbilt Grace after seeing it featured on Chronicle. Upon arrival at 3:15pm we asked the hostess if we could have the afternoon tea, at which point she asked if we had reservations as they were required 24 hours in advance to prepare finger sandwiches. We told her we came...

We were willing to splurge for this very special visit in September 2016 as we traveled to Cape Cod to get married. And the premium we paid was definitely worth it. We chose a two-story suite with two bathrooms. (I've never had that option before.) The first floor had a seating area with a couch and two upholstered chairs; mini...

What a fantastic hotel! Set in a beautiful Newport mansion, the building and hotel design is stunning. Wonderful preserved and restored historical features with modern fittings for a luxurius stay. Not only are the rooms beautifully designed, but as are the shared spaces. The rooftop garden/bar has stunning views, the light airy breakfast room, and the cosy piano bar for...

The long and short of my story is I was able to stay one night in a hotel room that I would never dare to pay so much for. The hotel was magnificent and echoes the grandeur of mansions down the road that hold the same family name. The staff were very welcome and friendly. The room itself was magnificent....

The Vanderbilt Grace is one of our favorite hotels. They set a high bar when we were here last year and this trip met or exceeded our expectations. The service is world class and the location in Newport allows walking to the bars and restaurants on and around Thames Street. Food at breakfast and dinner was memorable and well priced....

My husband and I booked our three day wedding celebration at the Vanderbilt Grace. We searched throughout New England for the perfect venue - a historic, inviting, intimate hotel that could accommodate 50 of our closest friends and family. We immediately fell in love with the Vanderbilt Grace when we visited for the first time in the Spring of 2016....

My wife and I stayed here for 8 nights and could not have enjoyed our stayed anymore. Location is the best and hotel was as good as it gets. We're exp travelers and have stayed at Mandarin Orientals, Langham in Chicago, etc. This is right there with them as far as luxury. But the staff is where they really stand...

Loved this hotel. Was one of 5 hotels we stayed at in a road trip over New England and this was our favourite. Fantastically friendly and helpful staff in a brilliantly appointed hotel. Right in the centre of Newport so a great spot for exploring his great little town. Has a great roof terrace for enjoying a sundowner overlooking the...

This hotel is right in the heart of Newport-literally minutes from the restaurants and shopping. Staff is very friendly and helpful and on point. We stayed in the master junior suite which was a beautiful room. In fact, more roomy that it appears on their website. Very clean with 2 beautiful bathrooms. My husband thought the shower was a 5...
