We needed a three day get away and John & Cindy’s Bayberry Inn fit the bill. Not only did we get a wonderfully clean and well appointed suite (The Bayberry Suite) but we also had fantastic & imaginative breakfasts and received solid advice on how to plan our days from John the owner. With an adjacent parking lot in parking starved Newport, it was easy to breeze in and out. Also the location is walkable from all the in-town sites but also away from most of the congestion. We can’t wait for our return visit.

Bayberry is our new go-to in Newport! The property is lovely and the rooms spacious and wonderfully designed and decorated. Everything is immaculate and the historic nature of the property is complemented by the upscale modern, yet warm, decor. Gourmet 3 course breakfast is included with your stay. Ours was yogurt & fresh fruit, delicious gluten free blueberry pancakes with maple syrup and fresh berries and then a zucchini, tomato egg bake with chicken sausage and toast! There’s a wonderful gas fire pit in back yard and ample off street parking. Tait the chef provided us with a delicious charcuterie board and the best homemade guacamole and chips we’d ever had! Nikki takes wonderful care of the property and it surely appears to be a labor of love for both.

This was my husband's and my first time to Newport, and we had a wonderful time. The Bayberry Inn's hosts and guests were very welcoming, yet we had all the privacy we wanted. The Inn was beautifully decorated and spotless. After our 7.5 mile Cliff walk/hike, we trudged back to cold drinks, cookies and the jacuzzi! Did we mention the wonderful breakfast?!! This Inn was in walkable distance to the marina, shopping and most of the restaurants we had reservations to. Can't wait to come back! Thanks for your hospitality!

I had been searching high and low for a special place to stay for my wedding weekend in Newport, RI, and I am so lucky to have found the Bayberry through something tagged on Instagram! My, now, husband, his family, and some of the wedding party rented out the house and it was perfect. Nikki and Tait were absolutely amazing to work with from them moment we booked throughout the whole planning process. The breakfast they provided for us each morning was delicious, the space out back was perfect for us to all hang, The rooms are AMAZING, everything is recently updated and beautiful. I just can’t say enough. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice place to stay or renting out the house for a wedding weekend!

There is nothing negative to say about this Inn! From the moment we stepped in the door til the time we left, it felt like home! The host and hostess make this place the perfect choice for a weekend stay, and it doesn't disappoint! The breakfast was wonderful and to be able to have a tea at the end of a tiring day exploring Newport was what I loved the most! The interior was very beautiful and just our style! Thank you very much Nikki and Tate for a perfect weekend even when it rained!! Your outdoor patio was a great surprise for relaxing by the fire pit, so unexpected! Thank you again for a wonderful stay, I will definitely recommend!
