I stayed at the bayberry recently with my now fiancé. Jess have us an amazing experience. We felt at home but spoiled by her superb expertise in local attractions and the best host we’ve experienced thus far! We had minor WiFi problems just Jess made a phone call to get it fixed right away and addressed the problem promptly. Breakfast was amazing and different every morning and was also prepared by Jess (who stays on property which is a plus!)She printed our tickets out and made reservations without hesitating. Jess was the perfect host in the perfect town. Our stay couldn’t of been more enjoyable and relaxing.

Where do I begin!!! I originally reached out to The Bayberry when I was planning my wedding that was supposed to be July 2020. Nikki got back to me right away and we setup a time to visit and see all the rooms. The rooms are all BEAUTIFUL, the house itself is stunning, old bones with modern amenities. As Covid hit we were really sad to have to cancel our wedding plans. After planning what felt like 10 backup plans, we decided to move forward and get married with immediate family + bridal party in August. Throughout the process, our plans changed SEVERAL times. She was extremely responsive, organized, professional and simply wonderful to work with. Fast forward to the week of the wedding, our bridal party ended up renting out the rest of the rooms (which she helped organize). We arrived at the Bayberry and words cannot not describe how amazing our experience was. Besides the rooms being perfect, they had the backyard setup with beautiful lights, tables and food when we arrived back from the rehearsal dinner. They also had a fire pit and lawn games setup, our guests had a blast and could not stop talking about it. Tate prepared the MOST delicious food that I'm still thinking about, brie bites and buffalo chicken dip to name a few. When we woke up, Tate had breakfast and coffee ready for everyone. Our bridal party has stayed at A LOT of hotels/inns over the year and we all agreed the Bayberry felt like a home. You don't feel like you're staying at an inn, Nikki and Tate are extremely accommodating. The day of the wedding was very windy, we originally had our photos on the rocks past Castle Hill but we came back to take them in front of the bayberry which I was so happy with because the pictures came out amazing. The night of the wedding, we came back to the inn decorated with colorful balloon decor and I almost started crying. I think it says a lot about Nikki & Tate, they truly went the extra mile to make sure I had the best night of my life and filled the houses with fun surprises. What was originally a very stressful situation ended up being the best weekend of my life and I owe it all to Nikki and Tate being so awesome. My friends had such an amazing time, they literally called the bayberry the next weekend and stayed there again!!!! I heard about this and asked if I could join them (because obviously I wanted to come back) I was greeted by the nicest card from Tate and flowers from the garden. It's safe to say Nikki and Tate will be lifelong friends and I can't say enough amazing things about the Bayberry! If you have a wedding coming up, BOOK the entire house, it's the best decision we made!

Thank you and your incredible crew for choosing the Bayberry!! You and Will are amazingly outstanding individuals and it was an absolute honor to host you and your loved ones. We honestly couldn't have asked for better guests and are so thrilled that we were able to make your weekend special and memorable despite the chaos our world is facing! We are beyond thankful for your friendship and as always, cannot wait to welcome you back to our home on the hill! Hope you are having a great fall, Tait and I look forward to seeing you both soon! Warmly, Nikki & Tait

I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast! Just simply being here is so relaxing and enjoyable! Husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here. Rooms were immaculate and decorated beautifully. Morning breakfast was so delicious and the hostess was so sweet. It's a bit pricey, but if you've never been to a B&B this one is nice to check out. Location is great- a short walk to Thames St and all the shops.

We recently stayed at the beautiful Bayberry Inn while we were visiting Newport for our son’s wedding. We reserved the entire inn to accommodate our extended family and the innkeepers Nikki and Tait, assisted by Angela could not have made us feel more welcome! The breakfasts each day were delicious and we also arranged for appetizers during a welcome cocktail hour as well as a lunch. Everything was outstanding and presentation just beautiful. The rooms of this historic inn are beautifully decorated in soothing tones and during our stay was further enhanced by lovely Christmas decor. Nikki graciously invited us to have wedding photos taken in this gorgeous setting so our wonderful memories of this stay will be preserved. Thank you Nikki and Tait for making our stay truly extraordinary!
