We had a wonderful 3 day stay over Memorial Weekend. The Bayberry Inn did not disappoint. The bedroom was most comfortable, ample in size, and well appointed. All the amenities were very nice as well as the well presented breakfast. This B&B is well maintained and extremely well located in Newport. In fact, it is unlikely you'd find a better location. Located on a residential, quiet street, the large parking lot is a real plus. We look forward to returning.

To say that this is tastefully renovated is an understatement! Everything about it is pleasing to the senses: the quiet, the modern amenities, the luxurious bathrooms/shower, towels, etc., the linens, the climate control, the furniture and spaciousness of both the room and the public areas — it's all top drawer and a great value on the dollar. The breakfast is superb, the attention-to-detail is evident throughout the Inn. Light snacks and refreshments are provided throughout the afternoon. There are well-kept gardens and sitting areas outside. It's location is every bit as pleasing. Easy walk to both the waterfront, Thames Street, Memorial Blvd., Bellevue Ave and the mansions, It will be our only choice when visiting Newport in the future, which we love doing every year or so. Thank you for putting your heart and soul into making this such a pleasant, comfortable, relaxing place to spend the weekend in Newport!…

The Bayberry is lovely, the room was beautiful, lovely bedding all top quality, breakfast the best of all our holiday, like a Michelin star restaurant. Great location , an easy walk to everything. Absolutely would recommend The Bayberry. Were from England & wont be coming back to this area so I'm really glad we found this gem.

Wonderful B & B Experience. Beautifully renovated, with tasteful, comfortable furnishings and all the amenities you need. Delicious breakfast. Centrally located (15-20 minute walk to the Cliff Walk, 10-15 minute walk to Restaurants & Shops).

Clean, comfortable room, and close to everything Benares the Newport Harbor. Delicious homemade breakfast every morning and beautiful sunsets from the back of the inn over the Newport Bridge. Awesome front porch to hang out and drink your coffee during the morning. Sitting in fire pit in the back at night time. Friendly, accommodating staff. Will definitely be back!

The inn is in a beautiful old house within easy walking distance of the busy area of Newport and other attractions. Our room had a sitting area, bedroom and large bathroom, all clean. The bed was comfortable, temperature was good and it was quiet. Breakfast was fantastic, prepared by a chef with whom we chatted briefly and who said his focus is on good, healthy food and fitness. One morning he made a soft boiled egg and grilled vegetables, and the next he made a cheese and mushroom "egg bite". In addition to the hot food there was help-yourself yogurt, fruit cups, juices and coffee. All was delicious. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary with a stay at Bayberry. I would recommend staying here to anyone and everyone I know. Not only was the room beautifully decorated, but had all the amenities you need. Sadly, we didn't get a chance to use the two person jet tub, but should have! The Bayberry is on a lovely and quiet street. However, it is so close to EVERYTHING. You are a short walk to Bellevue St, the Warves for shopping and dining, and a lot of historical sites such as the synagogue and many historic homes. There are multiple spas within walking distance. The free parking is wonderful because you can park and walk to eat, drink, and shop. Here is a tip we will use next time...get up early morning before the heat and crowds and go to the beach and/or the Cliff Walk. Work up an appetite and head back to the Bayberry for an amazing breakfast made in house. We didn't eat out for breakfast once because it was so wonderful! We loved this Inn! Easy self-check in. Our room was spacious and cozy with a real homey feel. Location was great. We were pleasantly surprised with our breakfast; it was delicious each morning. It was really nice that we could eat in and not worry about finding someplace to eat! I hope we have the chance to come visit Newport again! Just a beautiful city !

Stop scrolling because you just found the perfect place to stay in Newport. Our room (Capt. Charles Hunter) was spacious, clean, and very comfortable (I need those sheets!). The inn sits on a fairly busy street but we didn’t hear any traffic once inside our room. Breakfast was not what my limited palate expected but it was delicious every day (seriously, who knew a jalapeño corn cake could be so good?). Parking was easy in the large attached lot. We barely used our car all week because it was such an easy walk into town (about 15 minutes). Walk five minutes to Picnic to pick up a coffee and then enjoy it while rocking on the front porch. So many great food choices in town. We enjoyed The Moorings, Bar and Board, and Jo’s American Bistro

The Bayberry Suite was everything we could have ever imagined. Coming in at 3pm after 6 hours of travel and quite a bit of sleep deprivation, the room was as comfortable as you could ever imagine. We were lucky enough to be alone in the house for the entire night. The bathroom was beyond fantastic, the fireplace coupled with the air conditioning kept everything extremely comfortable. Sleeping in was the easiest thing we could have done. Breakfast was the following morning and we were attended by Tait who could cook up a pretty good omelette and sausages. Dude also has pretty good taste in music too. I can appreciate that. I had to ask him for his playlist that he played during breakfast All in all, we had a great night. Only wish we had the money to spend one more or two.
