Wonderful B&B. From everything to the location to the rooms - it is perfect. The owners are very pleasant and the breakfast spread was absolutely amazing. They really do go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Minutes away from Thames Street. We will definitely be returning!

From the moment we arrived at the Sarah Kendall House, we felt welcomed. The owners greeted us on a cold, windy, snowy night and we felt immediately comfortable. Not only were the owners very welcoming; but they took the time to tell us about the area, the history of the home and the extremely interesting items (all authentic) within the...

We found the Sarah Kendall House for a last minute get-away and our experience there was beyond our expectations. Fran and Bryan were exceptional hosts who were most welcoming and responsive to our every request. The accommodations were excellent ( the bed and pillows were very comfortable) and the fireplace room was perfect for just relaxing in the evening. The...

My wife and I stayed at the Sarah Kendall House over New Year's 2016-2017. Bryan, Fran, and Mary (the staff) were very friendly, the price was fair, and the room was comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the fireplace in our room, the third-floor "tower" view of Newport of which we were able to partake, and the breakfast. This B&B is gorgeously...

This was our fourth New Year in Newport. Our last two - 2 night stays at the Sarah Kendall House. My husband and I are already discussing our next visit. Very conveniently located and within walking distance of the harbor. Lovely rooms, quiet and friendly and clean. Best of all, the morning table with whatever you fancy. Fresh juices, fresh...

This was my second time here and my husbands first time. It looked magical inside. The innkeepers Bryan and Fran are exceptional, as is Mary. They make you feel like family and are a wealth of information on dining out or site seeing if you need recommendations. Would definitely recommend and will come back again.

This was my second trip and we really had a great time! Fran and Bryan couldn't be anymore hospitable and the breakfasts are great! I love the availability for a quick cup of tea or coffee anytime with the convenient keurig machine! I especially appreciate the cleanliness no matter where you go! We can't wait to come back!!

This was our first B&B stay in Newport. Bryan and Franny the innkeepers are warm, friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the inn and the area. They provide a wonderful breakfast-- nice variety and beautifully displayed. Our room was decorated lovely, warm and cozy with working fireplace. It was on the 3rd floor. Stairs were not a problem for...

Great location. We were within walking distance of the main downtown area. It was a rainy day when we were there so we didn't get to do as much as we had hoped. The drive along the coast was beautiful. There is a toll to cross the bridge and get into Newport.
