I was just here for a girls getaway as well as my birthday week specifically stayed at Bellevue mannor room 122. The location is perfect I've stayed in Newport many times from economy Hampton inn to ivy lodge b&b. This has been one of my favorite locations because -it was a very quiet street not like the busy downtown where... More

Don't come here for the luxury, but if you want a nice front porch, a great little outside area to eat breakfast and a quaint room, it is nice. The price was more reasonable then many of the fancier places and we really enjoyed a warm summer night on the porch watching the people on Bellevue Street. They didn't make... More

After reading many reviews, I decided to look past the negatives and reserve a room here for the 4th. I booked room 110 on their website directly and received a confirmation for a room I didn't book. I specifically reserved room 110 because it is on the first floor and I am in my third trimester of pregnancy and I... More

This is one of three "Bellevue Inn" properties. The room was fine, each day though we had to ask for more towels. In the bathroom shower the cold was hot and the hot was cold. Would have been nice to be told that upfront. On two of the three mornings we stayed there the fire alarm went off. Why? They... More

We stayed in room 117 and the room was period decorated with taste. The housekeepers are to be commented on the cleanliness of the room. We stayed two nights and the room was always immaculate. The only complaint we had was the breakfast. The same was served both mornings , French toast strata that could be done better, better to... More

Bellevue Manor at 10 Bellevue Avenue is a converted Victorian three-story home. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite which was very comfortable, though rough around the edges in places but worth the money. The service was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent for visiting Bellevue "cottages" and shops. We appreciated the easy access to our car. A light... More

Staff and management were sassy and lots at attitude. Not the good kind either. Rooms were uncomfortable from the couches to the beds and air conditioning blew on your head while sleeping. Bathroom was tiny and tough to maneuver around. Breakfast was cold cereal and self serve white bread and strange pancakes.

Location was probably the only good thing. It is advertised as a B&B but don't be fooled it doesn't have the feel of a B&B. It is an old fashioned hotel; one where the front door was often wide open...it never locked... not very safe! One night I was going back to my room and a BAT flew past me... More

They called the room, a junior suite but it was far from that! There were three if us so my husband and I had the bed, my daughter, the sofa bed. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, about 5:00pm. Vivian, at the front desk was very nice. When we got to our room, there were only two towels and... More

My husband and I spent two lovely nights at the Bellevue Manor. I have to say I am surprised at the recent bad reviews. Our experience was much the opposite. I don't think I met anyone who worked at the hotel from Paul at the front desk to the cleaning staff who wasn't pleasant, helpful and accomodating. Our room was... More
