This is an old building, with the creaks and noises that go along with it, though I think they did a decent job at converting to an inn. Water takes a little while to warm in the shower, but once it does it is fine. Room was the economy room so what you would expect. It was a nice and...

First, my daughter and I had to carry our heavy bags up two flights of stairs to the third floor. No one from the Inn offered to help us. I don't normally have a problem w taking care of my luggage, but it was 90 degrees and steep narrow stairs and we would have appreciated at least a "can you...

This was my second visit to the Bellevue House. I requested the same room as before and again I was satisfied. You could easily sleep 4 because the second bed is a trundle bed. Not large but this is historic Newport and not a cold new hotel room. Full of charm with newer shower and tv to give you the...

I was pleasantly pleased with my accommodations. Maid service daily and I tipped her/him for it as well! I was on the ground level with shower and bath and all worked perfectly. No drafts and it went to 30's at night. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

The place was horrible! The room had an odor, the shower had mold and mildew, and for two nights we did not have hot water for the shower. We will never stay at this place again. It was not cheap and the hotel staff did not seem to care. The food was tasteless. The only good points was the location and coffee...

We were in the Bellevue House, which is set back behind the Inn on Bellevue, which is fine, & still close by. But there wasn't ice in the building, wasn't a phone to call the front desk, wasn't a fridge, and the room lock was very unsettling. There was a dead bolt type lock, & then a latched old/style door...

My friend and I just spent two nights at the Bellevue House and all I can say is do not stay there. The inn is dated, dirty, smelly and the management is unresponsive. Upon arrival, we were shown a small room with a double bed with doll size furniture on the second floor of the Brimley Street Inn, which we...

We arrived and were given room 115. If they try and give this room to you do not take it! Demand another room, the bed in this room is so old and terrible, I didn't sleep the entire night and my back was so sore the next morning I could hardly walk. The room we were given next was room...
