There aren't too many places you can bring your pup where they are off leash on an island. And to top it off, it's a fund raiser for Rose Island Lighthouse. Watch for upcoming romps, your pup will love you for it!

We took a small boat to visit the island. The tour was wonderful for a warm sunny day. The lighthouse is like a house with a light at the top. You can actually stay there for a week and work on the property. The boat tour along the way was informative about the large mansions along the water's edge and...

Just a nice getaway, like Gilligans Island. Your dropped off by boat and left on your own to enjoy the beautiful lighthouse and dream what it must have been like for the lighthouse keepers before Spent the night in the apartment on second floor. Really authentic and logs are kept by all visitors. Interesting to read!!!. Fresh air, no noise,...

This is a beautiful place to spend a night. We were in the apartment on the second floor, which has a full kitchen, full bath, a large bedroom with queen bed, and a small bedroom with two bunk beds. There is a large living room full of books, games, puzzles, etc. The first floor has a bath but no kitchen...

I really enjoyed seeing all the lighthouses in Narraganset Bay. The guide shared the history of each lighthouse and many other attractions. I'm tempted to check out staying at the Rose Island Lighthouse

we got there via the water taxi that stops at various places around Newport. There was a family staying there for the week, and the young teen daughter gave us a tour of the lighthouse and other highlights. nice relaxing informative.

I recently spent the night here with a group of friends. It was so relaxing to wake up, look out the window, and see water and sailboats so close. The lighthouse is very charming but rustic. There was an indoor shower but the water pressure was so low that it was difficult to get all of the soap out of...

This is a fantastic getaway for a couple looking to relax. Please note that there are little to no amenities here... the only food is what you bring with you, and the bathrooms are outside. You are also responsible for changing your own sheets. But that is part of the charm. You will fall asleep by the sound of the...

We loaded our kayaks and paddled from the Brenton Cove, passing Goat Island to the Rose Island Lighthouse. It was a wonderful visit at the Rose Island Lighthouse, especially the lighthouse tour guide was extremely friendly and gave us loads history. It is a non-profit organization and you can stay over-nights at the lighthouse or have wedding there. The view...

Skilled ferryman and guide, Chris graciously greets you and brings you to this unbelievable gem! Inside the lighthouse, you can stay a night or for a week. While you will need your own provisions, there is a kitchen and bathroom available, as well as grills and minimal linens. Or you can take a short trip to Newport or other destinations...

“Museum rooms share a common space and are rustic, and also accessible to day visitors. Keepers apartment is more private and has the only shower on the island, also not accessible to day visitors. Fog horn room and barracks rooms are isolated and private, but bathrooms are a short walk away. Also those rooms do not have heat. Find a room to suit your style, and go and enjoy.”
