Consistently pleasing ... everything, including the room and amenities in this lovely B&B, was wonderful, spacious, classy, and absolutely convenient to everything FUN and delicious in Newport RI. Included in our "Doris Duke" king room was a small wall-mounted TV, ample outlets, warmth or A/C, and critical free WiFi. The bathroom was clean, plus the two-person :-) shower/water pressure was...

Chose this place over labor day weekend as I couldn't justify the ludicrous hotel prices for one night. I bought two rooms here and both were lovely, nothing bad to say. I had the room in the picture and was very spacious, quiet and modern. We brought our own pack and play and there was ample room. Had the breakfast...

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with our stay. The room was very pleasant--clean, comfortable, and quiet. They had off-street parking, A very friendly staff, excellent breakfast and the location was close to everything.

This a difficult review to write because there are some strong positives and some things that are not terrible, but not great. First the pros-the staff is very, very nice and very helpful. The location of the inn can't be beat. You are literally five minutes to downtown, the shops, the wharves, and the Touro Synagogue. You're only a ten...

Rick and his staff were more than accommodating! They couldn't have been more helpful. We didn't like our first room because it didn't have a TV. They allowed us to check out several other rooms to decide which we liked best. The rooms are named after famous people of Newport. The rooms are charming, clean and historic. The inn is...

This is an actual historic building, one of a group on Clarke St. If you want a new, large chain hotel then you should go somewhere else. But if you want personal, friendly attention in a place with history - this is it. It's updated enough that things work in the bathroom, but the wide-plank floors creak like they should...

The breakfast was minimal but the rooms were spacious enough and very well kept. The location was excellent, right in the middle of downtown and easily accessible to the beach. Walking distance to great shops an restaurants. The beach is walkable but there is also a bus that brings you right near the cliff walk for only $2. Would definitely...
