The staff at the inn were awesome-very friendly and knowledgeable. Great location-a short walk to Thames St and the waterfront. The rooms are large and spacious. Large bathrooms. The breakfast area is nice and quaint. We thoroughly enjoyed the Friday and Saturday wine and cheese reception. Take advantage of the deck located on the second floor.

Dear patrickfws -- Thank you for staying with us and for taking time to share your impressions. It is great to hear you enjoyed the inn's location, staff, quaint ambiance and rooftop deck. I'd like to mention that although you had a large bathroom, many of our bathrooms are quite small -- I say that in the interest of anyone...

Good room with late night check in after 11:30pm after a long day at sea. The breakfast was good and the staff were accommodating and friendly. Reasonable priced for the location and facilities. I would lodge again for business or pleasure.

Nice central location but wish I had been warned about the fog horn in the middle of the night (keep the air conditioner on if you need white noise). Breakfast on par with Comfort Inn with a bake good or two. Lovely staff available 24/7 (good for late night arrivers like me).

Dear Linda B -- Thank you for the kind words about our team (they really are lovely) and central location in Newport. I am sorry the foghorns disturbed you -- it is not a loud noise, but it can be heard under certain conditions from nearby harbor and bay. Some people even find the sound soothing, but if that was...

This is an older home in a great location. I was able to walk to shopping, restaurants, wharf. The kitchen area is in the basement (rather steep steps down). They served oatmeal, cereal, bagels, fresh muffins, hard boiled eggs. The only other common area was up on the third story and outdoors. It is a nice patio with plants all...

The women at the desk was friendly and showed us the only room she had left for Saturday and it was adorable. The Inn is very clean and the breakfast they...

We didn't need to use our car for our Newport ventures, with the exception of the mansions tour, as this was within easy walking distance from the town centre. The house itself is a historic building and the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful with advice. Recommended.

This place is very cute and quaint. The staff that works there clearly love their jobs and Newport. They did mess up the room we reserved but were able to give us a similar room without much trouble. This is walking distance to Bowen's wharf where there are lots of shops/restaurants. It was also great that free parking was provided...

My first ever trip to Newport..picked this place on a whim. This is a great place, well managed and nicely kept. Check-in was fast and friendly, and the staff( CJ) was very helpful. Our room was in the Carriage House. The room was smallish, but what you would expect in an old place like this. Small, but comfortable. My only...
