The full kitchen, location and availability of dog friendly rooms makes the Pelham Court Hotel a great place to stay in Newport. Located across from the shops and restaurants of Bowens Wharf and next to a town park, everything is in walking distance. Also, a serve yourself continental breakfast is provided daily. Availability is limited during the summer months and... More

Location is literally one block off of Thames directly across from Bannister's Wharf. Private parking with several covered spaces right next to the hotel. I had a studio room which was plenty large and included a comfy bed, small dining table, kitchen with full size fridge, and some decent closet space. Bathroom was updated with a great shower. Bathroom counter... More

Pelham Court Hotel is a great choice if you are looking for a friendly, clean and quiet B&B that is close to everything in downtown Newport. The furniture is updated and clean and the bed is comfortable. Highly suggested.

My wife and I stayed at the Pelham Court on a trip to visit the Newport mansions. This property was actually built as a condomium from which some of the condos are rented as hotel rooms. The room we stayed in (#4) had full kitchenette, very large bedroom (premium bedding and mattress), beautiful furnishings, oriental rugs, etc., and spacious marble.... More

The furnishings are pretty, but beyond that much is to be desired. The location is good but it also is VERY loud at night, particularly on weekends given the proximity to several bars. There is no service available from the staff, Wifi is spotty to non-existent, beds are full not queen size and the TV service is limited to only... More

Spent three nights in a suite that was immaculate, with high end furnishings and beautifully decorated with understated elegance. Full, modern kitchen with just the basics and a covered parking space that was included in the price made things all the more appealing. The hotel is a two minute walk from the center of the wharf area but you would... More

So here's the deal about the Pelham. If you like a nice, neat, roomy place to lay your head smack in the middle of downtown Newport just a across from the wharf, this is the spot. But it's not a hotel. It's more like a condo. Lone amenity is a table in foyer on which they lay out some pastries,... More

Great location and parking. Highly recommend it's like staying in someone's condo. No hotel services just room in downtown Newport. Not cheap but you get what you pay for and this place is worth it. Tip:-This is not a hotel

The room was large and very clean. I was only there for one night but the kitchen and living area make it perfect for a longer stay. Unlike a lot of more expensive hotels in the area there is off street parking (only 1 car per room) and no "resort fees". Walking distance to everything in downtown area. Only issue... More

We just returned yesterday (June 30, 2015) from our 3 day stay to celebrate our anniversary - the room is immaculate and completely stocked with everything you will need in the kitchen. The location is perfect - close to cute boutiques, restaurants, bars, museums, boating/cruise excursions, etc. Granite Counters, wood floors, spacious rooms, very comfortable after a long day of...
