First, the location is fantastic as you can walk to anything/everything, yet it is very quiet at night. The people at the Inn are truly salt-of-the-earth good people and very helpful. The breakfast is really, really good. And the Inn itself is very well-appointed, updated and comfortable!
My boyfriend and I stayed at Serenity Inn for our anniversary weekend, and it far exceeded our expectations. It was charming, the interior was updated and fun, it was in the perfect location to walk around town, and we received 5-star service throughout our stay. We loved the daily breakfast in the sunny dining room, and everyone was so friendly. We will be back!
This Inn is lovely and the location is great. We are walkers, and we could walk to both Cliff Walk as well as the harborside attractions with ease. Cindy was very pleasant and accommodating to our shifting arrival times, and she makes a wonderful breakfast. Our only complaint about our lovely room was the size- just too small for us, particularly the bathroom. Wish we had the room in the photo on Trip Advisor- ours was very tight by comparison.
Rooms are extremely comfortable, breakfast is delicious, staff is extremely friendly and accommodating! Our room had a fantastic view of Newport and the harbor. Check-in is extremely easy, even for guests arriving after-hours. Highly recommended.
My husband and I stayed at Serenity Inn for a weekend in September. We had never been to Rhode Island and have heard amazing things about Newport. It is such a quaint and beautiful town with great restaurants and night life. Serenity Inn was perfect. It offers beautiful, modern accommodations. We were on the top floor so we had a great view of the water and downtown. Breakfast in the mornings was one of the best meals I have ever had. One morning we had homemade pancakes with fresh fruit and the next morning we had caprese eggs benedict. We sat outside every morning for breakfast and enjoyed the view of the historic homes and the great weather. The inn is easy walking distance to everything. Its two blocks from all of the restaurants and bars on Thames St. We also walked to the Cliff Walk from the Inn and it was only a 15 minute walk. Parking is free which is a huge perk and they also gave us a bottle of champagne for our anniversary! We will absolutely be back!…
