We used to stay at Viking hotel, but this time decided to try something new. This place did not disappointed. The old brick exterior walls, but a very modern interior design. Very quiet, spacious rooms with all the amenities you'd need. A breakfast is included and they even bring it to your room at desirable time. A very nice professional staff

We knew we would love The Mill Street Inn upon the time we entered the building. It’s off the beaten path just enough but within walking distance to lots of places! The staff is too notch. They were so welcoming and helpful. We had a snag (nothing major) on our first night but the staff went above and beyond to help us out. It was one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. They bring breakfast to your door each morning and it is fresh and delicious!! I would highly recommend to anyone heading to the area. If I’m ever back I will definitely stay there!

We just returned home from a 2 night stay at this wonderful small hotel. We were celebrating our anniversary and were looking for something away from the larger resorts and hotels near the harbor but close enough to easily walk to restaurants and shops. We're glad we discovered the Mill Street Inn. Perfect location in a residential area of 18th and 19th century homes. Free parking available for most guests, so we were able to leave our car at the hotel and not worry about it. We were in a 2 room suite on the second floor. High ceilings. Light and airy decor. Very clean. Very comfortable bed. Very good breakfast that included a pastry each day, along with cereal, fresh fruit and juice and a variety of beverages. My husband particularly liked the yogurt parfait. Everyone in this hotel was pleasant and helpful with good suggestions about where to eat dinner and things to do. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Fantastic boutique inn! We had one of the townhouse (2-story) suites, and it was fabulous. Very private little deck which would be lovely in warmer months. Great location and amenities, and - equally important - very warm and welcoming staff. Already thinking of returning…

The staff was phenomenal. Laurie and Chelsea made us feel at home. It was a true pet friendly environment. We were a bit worried leaving our dog but Laurie offered to keep an ear out. Many nice amenities and a great location. The room was spacious as was the bathroom which came with nice amenities

Staff welcoming and attentive. Unique spaces that respect the history of the building with real attention to the details. Breakfast delivered to your door each morning was fabulous! Shower was amazing! We had some noise issues on the first night and manager moved us to another room to resolve the issue. Best boutique hotel experience ever.

What a great location as our starting point to explore Newport by foot! We were warmly greeted by the staff and loved our welcome bag of tasty treats AND the sangria! :) Our room was small, but still plenty of space for the two of us. We even had spa treatments in our room (so cool!) The Nespresso coffee make in the room was something new for us, and we loved it! Breakfast delivered to the room each day was actually more than we could eat at one sitting - and travelled well with us on our walks. We used the little gym downstairs, fine for a day. Would definitely return !

We loved this place. Fantastic location in what’s one of the nicest towns we’ve stayed in. We had a king sized suite and had loads of room super comfy bed and great quality bed linen. Very well decorated and very clean. Staff were friendly and really helpful in terms of finding just what we wanted to eat. Easy and safe parking. Just great really. The only one comment is about soundproofing. We stayed two nights. Night one it was silent as there was no one above us. Night two not so great. Maybe we were unlucky but the people above us were hugely noisy. Doors banging until very late and conversations you could hear through the ceiling then back at it again at six in the morning. International travellers like us struggling for sleep might not enjoy this. But it could just be they were really rude. We’d recommend though.

I have been to many Inns in Newport- this one is by far the best. Modern, very close to downtown and the amenities are significant. The private patio was the great. However, the best part was the service. At no single point during our 4 night stay was I not greeted with someone willing to help & quickly. I will be going back soon multiple times.
