First-time stay here for a quick overnight getaway to Newport in November. Excellent in-town location with very comfortable rooms and lots of amenities. WHAT WAS GOOD: All units are suites, and ours offered a large and nicely furnished living room and a separate bedroom. Good sized HD TVs in both rooms. Nice extras like filtered water, snacks, fruit, etc….Great location from which you can cover most of Newport’s attractions on foot. Situated in an elegant and historic walkable neighborhood….Nice setup of afternoon tea, coffee and snacks….Good self-serve breakfast with nice variety and quality. WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER: Can’t think of anything. THINGS TO KNOW: We visited in the off-season and had no problem parking on site. With limited room, they don’t guarantee a space for all guests however, so I could see where parking could be an issue during busy times. BOTTOM LINE: Excellent place. This will likely become my go-to when looking to stay right in the thick of Newport.

… and pet friendly too. It turned out to be a very nice, reasonably priced choice for the two of us (couple, late 60's) and our little dog. Location is great: near art, tennis, shopping, water, points of interest, and set in a beautiful historic neighborhood. Staff was friendly & accommodating, place is nicely designed, very contemporary look, clean, lots of pleasing little details - snacks, teas, a bed & food bowls waiting for the dog; convenient parking. The included breakfast was absolutely great, even the coffee (we’re so particular about that we usually bring our own wherever we go, but didn’t have to unpack it this time)!

Impromptu booking on Hotels Tonight. Super clean, beautiful room, and excellent breakfast in a great Newport Neighborhood. Amazing value (luxury features at mid-range prices). The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the robe and slippers, and delight local chocolates with the turn-down service. I will stay here on my next visit to Newport.

Incredible modern studio, tastefully decorated with one of the most comfortable beds in any hotel I’ve stayed in. The breakfast is top notch, especially liked the fruit bowls. Staff is friendly. For winter travelers, ample parking. If you call directly, they will match pricing to the booking apps.

From my initial interaction with this establishment it was wonderful. Jamie was extremely helpful getting us registered for our short visit. We arrived early and were able to check in This was so appreciated as I was traveling with my 91 yr old mother and she needed a rest. We were given tea and wonderful in house baked treats to go with it. What a great way to start our stay. Our room was large clean and welcoming. We also interacted with Hunter the evening staff member. He too was very helpful. We were served breakfast in our room. Everything was delicious and the hot food was served hot. Wow! Loved our stay here and am recommending it to our friends Location was also optimum. Thank you Mill St Inn
