My teenage daughter and I attended a concert in Buffalo this past weekend and stayed the night at Oscar’s due to a snow storm. This was my 4th visit to Oscar’s. Jennifer and Rob are always wonderful hosts. Breakfast is amazing. Likewise, they know Buffalo and are always willing to recommend places to eat, attractions to visit, and events to attend. They went above and beyond this weekend, clearing snow off of our car so we could safely make our trek home. Thanks again for a great visit. We look forward to returning soon.

Great to see you again Owen and such a pleasure meeting your daughter. We're glad you had a safe trip and survived a Buffalo snow "squall" . See you in the Spring, if not sooner!

We enjoyed everything about Oscar's Inn. Jen and Rob are superb hosts - gracious, generous and committed to their guests' comfort and enjoyment. The inn itself is gorgeous inside and out. Over our 5-night stay we found the porch a peaceful retreat for a glass of wine and savoring the magnificent trees that line Linwood Ave. We walked to restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and other fun places. The wineries of the Niagara Escarpment are an easy (and worthwhile!) 45 to 50-minute drive, southtown hills and state parks about an hour to hour and a half drive. Lots to do both in the City and surrounding areas. Breakfasts were artfully prepared and served, and a feast for the eyes and taste buds. We appreciated the minimal presence and use of plastic. Just a wonderful place we look forward to visiting again.

A large 1870s house converted into a wonderful b and b. There is a small fee for an off-street parking space, but it was well worth it - the residential street was always crowded with parked cars. The building has its vintage charm, which was great. The rooms have high ceilings with tall windows with curtains. There is a thermostat to control the temperature, and the system was quiet. The full breakfasts were wonderful. The owners are friendly and can offer suggestions on dining and places to visit.

Oscar Wilde said, "I have the simplest of tastes. I am always satisfied with the best." I experienced the best in guest service without the pretension and snobbishness you find in some hotel/B&B establishments. It's about a connection with your proprietor and they understanding your needs. I stayed in the Wright Room, their largest of three rooms they offer. Unlike many B&Bs, the furnishings, lighting and many windows reflect an openness and a feeling of comfort combined with simple elegance. The Wright room is very spacious both the bedroom and living room area as well as the full bathroom (oversized bathtub/shower), and adjoining sitting area where you can relax with a drink or enjoy the complimentary coffee/tea (Keurig coffeemaker). Lots of natural light in this room from the many windows. The furnishings are a mix of modern and Asian/Japanese touches (framed prints, tea cups, etc.). They have various add-ons you can purchase including a Buffalo Bills package of goodies. Parking in the back (free), located in a tree-lined street close to Buffalo museums, parks, attractions all minutes away. Full hot breakfast is served (included in room price) , reading/relaxation room where you can have a glass of wine, read a book, meet with other guests. The owners Rob and Jen are a delightful, down to earth couple, with an authentic service oriented nature. They joined me and the other guests one evening over a glass of wine and free flowing chat. They provide guests with lots of local tour info., maps, restaurant suggestions, and more. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely stay here again.

We looked forward to our stay at Oscar's Inn. We found that this beautiful B&B was convenient for visiting UB, the Buffalo Zoo, and the historical Darwin Martin house, and so much more. We started out our busy days by getting spoiled with delicious breakfasts that were the definition of culinary delights, served by our hosts, Rob and Jen, with such professionalism along with that personal touch. Our room was comfortable with all the expected amenities (fridge, coffee, etc) plus a few surprises (chocolates!). We also enjoyed all of the antiques, the floating staircase, and unique historic sense - that will make us choose this Inn over any other.
Oscar's Inn exceeded all expectations and we'll look forward to staying here again to sit on the front porch after a long walk along this lovely tree-lined street, perhaps this fall🍁

Wow. My husband and I stayed at Oscar's for the first time in early August on our way back from Massachusetts, and we're so glad we did. We showed up a little earlier than we expected but Jen already had our room ready and gave us a thorough tour of the entire bed and breakfast. This place is absolutely beautiful, from seating in the back to multiple sitting areas and a game room! We stayed in the BeeBe Suite which felt like a cozy one bedroom apartment with a gorgeous bathroom/clawfoot tub, asmall sitting room with a coffeemaker and TV, and the well-appointed bedroom. So many thoughtful touches from top to bottom but breakfast was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed getting to know the other guests. And their dog Jade is absolutely adorable. I could go on and on and on but this is a must-stay place in a must-visit city, and we look forward to spending way more time than just one night at Oscar's the next time! Thank you Jen and Rob!

We just spent four nights at Oscars, Wade Room, and were extremely pleased with both the place and the hosts, Jenn and Rob. They made everything very easy for us and served a delicious breakfast every morning. We chose to have the breakfast basket as my husband gets up later and it was always filled with plenty of great food. The place is very clean, and had everything we needed. We did not spend much time there during the day as we were with Buffalo friends most of the day and into the evening. We hope to go back to Buffalo next year summer and know that we have a wonderful place to stay. My only wish is for a little more water.pressure in the shower. Cyndy R.

My husband and I stayed for a little getaway and we were impressed from the moment we met the owner Jen! She greeted us with a smile, toured us through the entire house, and even gave us some tips of what to do in the area. The house is beautiful with lots of charm! We enjoyed having a glass of wine on the shady front porch, taking bike rides to both the north where there are cute little shops, bars, restaurants, & great little neighborhoods. Then to the south where the water front is and offers a lot to do! The house is in a great location, our room was overly spacious and breakfast was amazing (this was a starter basket in our room, then a hot one to follow!) We loved our stay and would highly recommend! We hope to go back before too long!

We happily had a re-directed opportunity to experience a wonderful overnight stay at Oscar's last weekend! What a great find! Jennifer and family were just wonderful hosts and have a stunning, well appointed and very comfortable, clean home! We enjoyed their company and learned a wealth of local knowledge about Buffalo and all it has to offer. They provided an artfully prepared and delicious hot breakfast with warm baked bread and muffins. Just the best B&B!

Oscar's Inn is a unique and wonderful place to stay when you are visiting Buffalo. BTW, Buffalo (despite perceptions to the contrary) is a great place to visit. Excellent food, awesome museums and tours, and outstanding sights. I highly recommend visiting sometime.
And when you do, I highly recommend staying at Oscar's Inn. First off, the Seth's are the best hosts and very friendly people. They do great things in decorating and caring for the home, and are so accommodating. We stayed at Oscar's a couple of times in past years, but this was one of our first outings during the pandemic. Jen and Rob did so much to make our stay comfortable and safe. We wanted to eat outdoors, and the Seth's accommodated that without missing a beat. They also let us securely store our bicycles when we weren't using them.
Our room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were extraordinary. Delicious and presented in lovely ways. Truly a great stay at a wonderful place. We will certainly be back!

We are about 15 minutes from Amherst, if East Amherst it would be about 30 minutes. The Wright Suite and Wade room have queen size beds, the Beebe suite has a double bed. Please feel free to call for more details if you need them.
