Enjoy your stay in Buffalo!
Beautiful and warming place, I loved it! Excellent service, great location! Michael and Robin are very friendly and lovely people! I really enjoyed my stay there and I would recommend this place without any hesitation!
We loved everything about the Inn. Michael and Robin were so welcoming and had local knowledge of the area and great recommendations of places to visit and see. We stayed 5 nights and could have stayed a month! Each breakfast was out of this world, fabulous coffee and amazing tea selection. Upstairs there is a kitchenette near the bedrooms. We were able to upgrade our room and also had the option of have a family member who lives in Buffalo join us for breakfast at a nominal cost on a morning when there weren't other guests. I think Elmwood Village Inn is a Must See when you are in Buffalo. Please stay at least one night - you will LOVE IT!
Charming Inn among beautiful homes & shops. Conveniently located near Delaware Park. Michael & Robin were gracious hosts and breakfast was amazing.... Michael being an executive chef and all. Enjoyable patio to chill on after site seeing.
The location is wonderful. You’re in a residential neighborhood with trees on the side streets and people pushing baby strollers, but it’s an easy 15-minute drive to downtown or almost any other place you might want to go. Meanwhile, Elmwood Avenue itself is loaded with shops and restaurants, so you don’t need to go anywhere for dinner! The inn is in a 1906 house with elegant details, attractive antique furniture and a home-like setting. Our room was completely comfortable. All the rooms get nice sunlight and one aspect that we especially loved was the ability to open ALL the windows as wide as we wanted. We don’t like being trapped in air conditioning when there’s beautiful weather outside and so many hotels and even inns have the windows trapped shut – a terrible waste of energy! The breakfasts are delicious with the owner being flexible regarding the time of serving. If you’re the type who wants to get up and get going, you might miss out on the great omelets etc. but you will still be able to enjoy good fresh fruit and yogurt, scrumptious home-baked goods and more. The owner is friendly and totally accessible, happy to take calls on his cell phone if he’s not there, and always willing to provide information about restaurants, etc. We very much enjoyed our stay here.…
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Elmwood Village Inn last weekend and can’t say enough good things about it! It was my first time to Buffalo and staying at the Elmwood Village Inn was the perfect way to start the weekend. We stayed in the Master Suite and it was STUNNING. Beautiful design, incredibly spacious, a very comfy bed, and even a jacuzzi tub! Michael and Robin were wonderful hosts. Michael went out of his way to accommodate us, from making staying awake almost until midnight to welcome us in person to having great conversation in the morning. We did not have a chance to eat breakfast as we were meeting friends for brunch but Michael and Robin made sure to get us coffee and to-go cups as we rushed out the door. We are already planning a trip back to stay at the Elmwood Village Inn, thank you Michael and Robin!!…
