I am not one to take the pandemic lightly, so when my daughter suggested we meet in Buffalo, NY, I had to think about how safe I would feel staying someplace other than my own home. When I arrived at The Parkside House, Chris, wearing a mask, was sitting on the front porch. He checked me in, showed me the amenities of the B & B and asked what time I’d like to eat breakfast. From that initial meeting, I knew he took my safety seriously, and I immediately relaxed and felt at home. Parkside House is beautifully and comfortably appointed. I spent several hours on the first floor reading and playing piano. I was also glad that the temperatures were warm enough to take advantage of the front porch. My bedroom was very comfortable and the bathroom shower was amazing. Best of all, the breakfasts were fabulous! My favorite was the mascarpone-stuffed French toast with berries, though his quiche was a close second. Chris also offered many excellent suggestions for where to eat. If I have occasion to pass through Buffalo again, I will definitely return to Parkside House.

Chris’s B&B is located in a quiet, leafy neighborhood. Nonetheless, it is but a short walk to the Frank Lloyd Wright house and the zoo, and a quick ride downtown. Chris not only conjures up a mouthwatering breakfast every morning, but also manages to provide perfect weather and blue skies every day. He kindly allowed an early check-in and a late departure due to my travel schedule. I look forward to staying again.

My girlfriend and I stayed in the Parkside B&B for two nights before heading to Finger Lakes. The house is in a calm residential area, it didn’t really feel like being in a big city. So perfect for us. Our bedroom was a decent size but had an amazing bathroom. We enjoyed the bathtub and the majestic shower. Chris, our host, was kind enough to prepare us delicious breakfast on the porch making sure it fit both of our peculiar diets (we don’t eat meat and my gf doesnt eat cheese). We would highly recommend it.

We recently spent a night at the Parkside House Bed and Breakfast in Buffalo, New York. Chris was amazing and our room was spacious and beautiful! He was very hospitable and made the best stuffed french toast. Conveniently located to Niagara Falls, zoo , and the Martin House! Will definitely return!

We are so excited to have found The Parkside. Our large hotel group rewards card has been filed away and this charming nationally registered historical home is our new Buffalo go-to. The property is magnificently landscaped with spacious and clean rooms and a gorgeous porch, perfect for breakfast or a late evening cocktail. Chris the owner has hospitality in his blood. Looking forward to returning to this gem.
