We stayed here while visiting the South Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. It is in a perfect location just minutes from the entrance. The hotel is historic but has been nicely renovated. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good. We highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel went from a one to a solid 4 plus because of one staff member that made the right decission. The hotel is not inexpensive even in the off season and they only offer a discount for AAA (no AARP). Being military I asked about a discount and was told yes but the COMPUTER would not accept it so...

Comfortable and Beautiful hotel! I would definitely recommend if you are staying in Medora. As another commented, be prepared and check on restaurants being open. I was told the one restaurant that is normally open year round just happened to be closed that week for remodeling. But it appears you'd have plenty of options between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

We spent the night at Rough Rider Hotel in Medora, ND. It was mid May and still off season for hotel. Wonderful room with great tiled shower. Room had very comfortable chairs and bed. Breakfast was truly continental but that wasn't a problem. The only negative is finding a place to eat for the evening. We had to drive to...

What a gem! Beautiful, rustic, yet super comfortable and updated. The off season rates at the RRH are phenomenal. Literally, the only complaint if you will was the fact that all 4 pillows were of the fat foam variety which made it difficult to sleep. Just one softer feather pillow and this is a 5 - not to self -...

We headed to Theodore Roosevelt Park on our way back home(East). We stopped in the town before going to the park and needed a place to stay. It's a cool Western-looking town. We walked into hotel and was able to get 3 rooms for a decent price. The rooms are wonderful, the showers were custom tile. The beds were comfortable...

When we booked online we had asked for one of the historic, original rooms, and was noted that was the case. However upon arrival we were in a modern room. Adorable "Teddy" bear awaiting on the bed, which was available for purchase. Walking distance to really fun little shops and restaurants.

I love this hotel. It is truly beautiful. The shower was beautiful and relaxing. The staff was very friendly. There is nothing open in the area but the gas station and the saloon opens at 3 pm. I cannot wait to back. Rumor says the hotel is haunted but we never saw anything.

First class rooms to compliment a wonderful restaurant and old west saloon. The staff was great to our conference. We could not have been happier with the conference rooms and the catering was top notch
