If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet motel or campground with an amazing view, this is your place. If you are looking for a pool, activities, and a fancy room, this is not your place. Our room was new, it was fine, just nothing fancy. It is in the country, a few miles west of Medora. We ate... More

We started our trip West with no place to stay. We looked on Trip Advisor and found this place will allow pets. We called the ranch and got a room for the night. It is a bit off the beaten path, but not hard to find. A long gravel road brings you right to the ranch. It's a ranch, so... More

There were 9 of us along with our horses, first time travelling and boarding horses. The corrals are fine, each horse had their own, bring your own feed, do your own chores. The cabins are dated, they could use new blankets, lawn chairs and curtains. If you are looking for a 5 star this is not for you but being... More

The ranch is 7 long miles from Medora & a mile on a rough dirt road. The cabin was basic but ok til we learned there was no internet & the tv was also down--& there was no soap !! They did give us a full refund when we immediately checked out. Because we had a dog with us, we... More

Every inch of Wyoming is covered with grass except for this campground—all mud, with a smidgen of gravel. The approach to the campground is a couple of miles of washboard dirt road. No wonder we were the only campers there. One working washing machine. No dumpsters, just a trashcan near the office. And worst of all, power outages that they... More

We chose the Buffalo Gap Guest Ranch because it was pet friendly and reasonably priced for the area. This is truly a working ranch with lots of activities for families who enjoy riding or hiking. The people here were extremely friendly and the food in the restaurant is very good. The rooms are picturesque and the back patio is perfect... More

I go to the ranch every year and this place is the best. If you need something they will figure it out and do anything to acomidate you. Only thing bad is I wish I could make it out there more often!!!

The rooms are very dated, dark and gloomy. Many people including ourselves were having a hard time getting the keys to work in the rooms. Our toilet needed to be plunged after each use. The linen was very thinice and old. We ate at the restaurant and it was pretty good.

In terms of dog friendly hotels, this was really the only choice my boyfriend and I had when visiting Medora. Once you exit off of I-94 there can be no wrong turns! You go left to go back into town or you go right to enter Buffalo Gap territory. From the outside it looks long in the tooth but the... More

First impression were not favorable and as our overnight stay unfolded we could not wait for morning to move on. Our room #5 was not clean, but no complaints on the condition of the bathroom. The "writing" deck had the fridge on it and the wood on the one side was rotten causing it to lean noticeably. After giving the coffee... More
