What a great find! This beautiful home/lodge gets you away from the tourists and puts you in the heart of the rugged beauty of the Badlands. A real treat awaits when you arrive, approximately 7 miles out with about 4 miles of that being (well maintained) dirt road. The serenity and accommodations is worth every bit of it. Food was... This outstanding, comfortable ranch house residence is a perfect escape from the tawdry, touristy Medora only 6 miles away. Paul & JoAnn make your visit memorable by supplying hearty breakfasts and dinners in the high ceiling dining area affording one of the area's finest views. The value is excellent considering the accommodations & meals. The grasslands here are thinly populated... More

What a wonderful way to appreciate the Badlands! Paul and JoAnn's home, perched on the edge of the ridge, offers warm hospitality and incredible views of the countryside. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The lodge has fireplaces in just about every room so we never were without a cozy place to relax. And, in the morning it was just... More

We loved our recent stay at the Eagle Ridge Lodge! Paul and Joann were very friendly and welcoming. Both dinner and breakfast were incredible! There was so much food we couldn't eat it all. We felt that the price was great especially since it included 2 full meals. Don't count on your GPS finding this place, you will need to... More

If you wish to listen to silence, glory in full sky sunsets, be pampered by friendly hosts, eat locally grown, deliciously prepared breakfasts and dinners, choose Eagle Ridge Lodge. Joann's lovely quilts and Paul's incredibly crafted staircase and railings add to the beauty of looking out on the ND badlands from a point once cherished by Native Americans. The "home"... More

We spent a night here with friends after finding it online. We found out after booking (which was last minute) that they didn't provide dinner on Sunday nights. We asked if we could pick up some food to bbq but were told that we would have to bring our own grill. We then decided to eat in town which turned... More

After finding hotels very pricey in the area ( due to oil workers) we found Eagle Ridge Lodge on-line. We had no problems finding the lodge...as long as you follow their directions. The rooms are comfortable, very clean, and the view is a highlight. The food is very good as well. IF you are expecting the owners to entertain you,... More

We called last minute to see if we could get a room for just one night. We already had dinner plans so we couldn't enjoy dinner that was included.. No problem. Paul, the owner, called back and said we could stay and he would take off the dinner. Super. Dinner and breakfast are included in this fine establishment with great... More

Eagle Ridge Lodge ranks at the very top when it comes to bed & breakfast accommodations. The view from the top of the ridge is outstanding, the lodge is exceptionably clean and beautifully furnished, the food is delicious, and most of all Joann & Paul are the perfect hosts. I have stayed in many B&B's and Eagle Ridge is at... More

Though off the beaten path-and especially because it's off the beaten path-this is a special place. Clean and quiet. Good food. Close to the park. It is a bit weird to have all the signs about keeping food and drink only in the dining area, but there were no bugs in our room, so it must be working. Highly recommend... More
