Always a great stay at Little America! This time the breakfast buffet had reopened 7 days a week! Great to have coffee or tea, juice, and the full line of buffet items; fruit, dry cereal, granola, yogurt, pastries, freshly made waffle, cheese blintz, French toast, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon, fried potatoes, biscuits, and gravy. Plus, you can order oatmeal and fried eggs or an omelette. Now a days a stay at Little America is always at least two nights so we can sleep in and just hang around all day, take a walk and relax. After breakfast is a great time to sit back around the pool too. We like lodge 4 which gives us an opportunity to have a nice walk getting to things. A garden or forest view is always worth it. After having a big breakfast, we usually skip lunch and have a light dinner in the bar. Cheers!…
Stayed here for 2 nights and everyone was great! Comfortable beds, hot showers, great location!!! The hotel truly feels like a luxury experience at a reasonable rate!!! The pool and grounds are beautiful and meticulously cared for… Thank you for a really nice post COVID vacation!!!
One night stop headed home from the Grand Canyon. Perfect place. Great hotel, spread out, areas to walk, playground, pool. Dining was good. Pool side service was a nice touch. Bathroom had two sinks, helped our family of 4 spread out a little getting ready. The wait staff at the pool was awesome! Kind, attentive and friendly.
Our family stayed at The Little America Hotel in Flagstaff, AZ. The hotel was very clean and welcoming. The rooms were clean, the shower was amazing and the staff friendly. The only negative comment about our stay was that due to staff shortage, daily room cleaning was not available. This was not due to anything that the hotel did, but I think the cost of the room should have been adjusted because this service was not available unless requested. Note: If you fly in and have a flight before 7:00am, transportation to the airport was difficult due to limited taxis, no Uber and the hotel doesn’t start the shuttle service until 7:00 am. Axel Taxis were wonderful and accommodated us on short notice. Call for transportation at lease 24 hours before your flight.
A very standard room at a premium price. If this is the best I Flagstaff there is some serious opportunity for some new good hotels. Overpriced and needs renovation, no maid service unless requested Won stay here again. Needs to be updated to modern architecture.
From checking to checkout the staff at the front desks, restaurant, gift shop, and maid service was outstanding! Hot tub was very relaxing after a chilly swim in the pool. Flagstaff is around 6900 ft about sea level and at night it is chilly! The rooms and amenities our outstanding!
We had a 3 night stay at the hotel. We had room 429 which overlooked the forest and walking trails. The hotel is only 2 story which we liked. we did not have to use the elevator except with luggage. Very nice bar and restaurant. The food was excellent in the restaurant. Be careful when exiting the hotel as the freeway off ramp is right there. Lots of large trucks exit. Bed was comfortable, plenty of seating and a lovely bathroom with 2 separate vanities. Close to shopping and restaurants. Would stay here again.
My husband and I were passing through Flagstaff and stayed at this hotel for only one evening in room 403. It's a beautiful hotel with friendly staff. The rooms seem to be recently updated and are fairly large with comfortable furniture and bed. The bathroom was really nice with separate vanities. The location is about a 10 minute drive to historic downtown Flagstaff. My only complaint is that we could hear the highway noise nearby from our room. Wasn't super loud and not a deal breaker by any means. Our room overlooked the parking lot and a little bit of the highway. Overall we still really enjoyed our stay.
This hotel was great! Every aspect was very clean, the restaurant was convenient, and the grounds make you feel like you are not right off the Interstate. The room was very large, including a chair and couch to relax in right by the sliding door. Having it open for fresh air was very nice. The only two comments I have are that the menu at the restaurant is pretty limited, but still with the basics for a good meal. Also, there is no daily service to your room. I completely understand this, and usually don't mind. We just didn't know it until we finally saw a sign in the hallway, so we had no coffee refills for the stay. I would still absolutely stay here again!
We have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the years and always love it. It is immaculate, the staff is always friendly and we love eating breakfast here. It's right off the highway but there are large grounds that makes you feel like you are in a secluded location. The rooms are large and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.
