We were moving back to Oregon from Tennessee and decided to spend two nights in Flagstaff to sightsee and relax along the way. We put out a little extra money to stay at the Weatherford, which we assumed was a charming, albeit quaint, hotel. It turns out that the Weatherford was a huge downgrade from the basic (and cheaper) hotels... More

After a hard day's sightseeing around Flagstaff or while waiting for the Southwest Chief train to LA this is the ideal place for dinner and drinks on the first floor veranda. Less than five minutes walk from the station and Route 66; sit on the veranda and watch the world go by. Excellent food, well made cocktails and a selection... More

We dropped in for a Saturday lunch and were a underimpressed by the decor - the carpets were worn and dirty on the main walk- through areas. However, we decided to give it a try and had an acceptable lunch. The staff were really upbeat and friendly. Worth a try if you are in the old town area

Hotel has a little old-fashioned hint of Grand Budapest Hotel about it - you feel like it's a decayed, anachronistic ramble, in a good way. Old fashioned rooms with bathrooms across the hall. Good service from a waist coated young man who served breakfast the next morning - OJ, coffee, peaches and cream all on the house as we were... More

This was a great choice for a recent weekend getaway. The hotel dates to 1898 and oozes historic charm. We loved the character of the place and the convenience it offered as far as exploring downtown on foot. However, visitors do need to be aware of a few things. First of all, this is an old hotel, so the rooms... More

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We went mountain biking and with the rooms being a little smaller than "newer" hotels, they allowed us to store the bikes in their storage. It made for a great stay. The entire staff gets my 5 star rating. Everyone seemed to be happy and working hard to... More

We've stayed at this great historic hotel many times before. Always a treat - always great staff. This time, it was a Sunday night and we were on our way to Durango and decided to stop here for the night. What a fantastic discovery - we learned that local musicians gather to play Irish music every Sunday night on the... More

Greetings to the Weatherford Hotel! I understand that this is a long message, but please read it! I frequent your bars often and I spend a good amount of money at your establishment. I understand the new law, and have read the legislation in detail. Passports are an acceptable form of identification under this law. I have no problems with... More

We love the Weatherford. It's like stepping back in time . They have kept it as original as possible . The food is wonderful, and the Zane Grey ball room is fun. It's a bit noisy but something always to do as located In historical downtown .

I haven't had the opportunity to stay at this lovely hotel but I did have the pleasure of dining there last week. The food and the services were amazing. The hotel has such charm and has be renovated beautifully. I plan to visit often on my trips to Flagstaff.
