Drury was recommended to us so this was our first stay/experience with the brand. We were extremely impressed! It started when we checked in. Abby was so pleasant and seemed to genuinely care about us as customers and our travel. In fact, all employees at this location were upbeat and customer service oriented. I was anxious due to CoVid but my concerns were eased when I realized how clean everything was and how seriously protocols were followed. The room was no exception - besides being clean, it was comfortable, quiet, & well appointed. The bed was especially comfortable. The evening social hour is pretty incredible - we enjoyed our food & drink. The breakfast was also good & the coffee even exceeded our expectations- something I’m usually quite critical of. At other establishments. Based on this experience, we will now stay in Drurys whenever possible and I’m so happy we discovered this brand!

Upon arrival, after parking in the hotel garage and walking to the closest entrance, the entrance was locked. It was Wednesday 4 November 2020 @ 4:30 PM; approximately 1.5 hrs. before darkness. I proceeded to the next visible entrance, it too was locked. The front desk was clearly visible, it was not busy. As difficulty walking was experienced due to an injury, a phone call was placed asking that someone come open the door. The woman answering the phone said to go to the main entrance. It was explained I had an injury and after trying two locked doors visible from the parking lot, the "main entrance" was now elusive and please come and unlock the door. I was transferred to another woman at the front desk, she was not helpful. Four hotel guests were eating outside, realized the predicament and one of them opened the door with a room key. Another woman at the front desk, speaking very fast and in a very disinterested manner, recited the hotels rules and amenities not only to the guest first in line, but to me also when checking in. The staff serving the tasty dinner and breakfast items items were far more friendly and accommodating. Guests were using the pool and Jacuzzi. The room was clean. The women working the front desk at the time, demonstrating a lack of A.D.A. awareness, overall sensitivity and curtness in mannerisms certainly gave a black eye to an otherwise great staff and good visit.

Response from Drury Hotels, Owner at Drury Inn & Suites Flagstaff

Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to let us know about your experience. I apologize for the confusion of were to park and register as a hotel guest. The main entrance is located on the northwest corner of the building facing Milton and Butler Roads and we ask guests check in to the hotel before parking in the garage. A large porte cochere frames the entrance and allows guests to park their car and enter the hotel to check-in. The front desk is not visible from any entrance except the main double sliding doors and all other entrances of the hotel require a key to use. We will use your comments as training tool for the team and make sure they are clear with the directions. I was happy hear you enjoyed your time and were able to experience some of our great amenities including a free hot breakfast and evening 5:30 Kickback. We hope to see you again soon. Blake S. This was a family stay after spending 2 nights at the fabulous Drury in Santa Fe. The Inn & Suites is a step down from the Drury Plaza hotels, but this was still an excellent stay. Location is part of Northern Arizona University, so if the stay is related to that, location couldnt be better. Room was clean, updated, well appointed. Plenty of outlets for modern electronics. Service was excellent. Complimentary hot breakfast and evening happy hour with drinks and hot food made a great place too good to be true - but it was true.

Limited parking in front and back, but it has a parking garage accessible by your hotel keycard with elevated pedestrian walkway to hotel's 2nd floor. Check-in was quick. Yes, we wore mask in the lobby. Mini sized market for drinks and chips just right beside front desk. Pool is open from 9am to 10pm and by appointment only. Pool towels are provided by the front desk if you have an appointment. Pool water was cold, not clear, and up to 5-ft deep in one end. Hot tub was ok and fits 7 (before covid). I felt some sand in the hot tub floor. Room was clean. Small fridge and small microwave. 42"? Flat screen with good channels (but no movie channel) and no printed channel lineup. HDMI inputs available for those who brings their own dogital box (see photo). 4 electrical socket in the nightstand, and more at the desk. Keycard hardly works @ the door. It takes us about 7-10 tries before it works. I had to go to the front desk 2x to get it reprogrammed. And yes, i am aware of not putting the keycard close to my phone. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Water pressure was great. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash were generously sized, provided, and attached to shower wall. However conditioner dispenser needs to be modified to release more than a drop per pump. Good thing I packed a conditioner because i got tired after 24th pump. No lotion provided. I had to call front desk and they were nice to deliver lotion to my room in a few minutes. Towels are nice, decent thickness, and big. Breakfast was good for covid (see photo for menu). We stayed for 2 nights and breakfast menu were the same for those days. Hotel front desk were very nice. I would come back here again because of their staff. Have a great vacation! Thumbs up if this review was informative in any ways. Thank you..
