The England House B and B was a perfect place for our 3 night anniversary trip. The hosts, Richard and Laurel were amazing. So gracious and accommodating! They gave great directions, provided a map of local attractions, and dinner ideas. Breakfast was great and different every day. We especially loved the Apple-Muenster stuffed croissants!! We really enjoyed our stay. The... More

Our room (The Stone Cutter) was a suite with a Tempur-Pedic queen bed and separate sitting room. Breakfasts were amazing with fresh organic fruits, meats, etc. The best part of being at The England House is the wealth of knowledge Laurel and Richard bring to the table. We came to Flagstaff without any idea of what there was to do.... More

Words sometimes fail. Richard and Laurel have done a wonderful job restoring an historic mansion, and have used their skills at hospitality to make this a great B&B to stay at during our vacation. They have so much good information about the area attractions, tips and tricks to get the most out of your stay, and great recommendations for eating... More

I've stayed at numerous hotels in Flagstaff. Decided to try this B&B as it's location was prime to the downtown area. I was blown away with so many aspects of this beautiful house. Our room was upstairs and had a sitting room off the bedroom. The furniture was elegant yet comfortable - including the bed. Towels, soaps, robes - everything... More

This is a neat old house decorated with antiques with a lot of hand restoration work throughout. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable with clean modern baths. Breakfast was served on the enclosed back porch and always included something creative with fruit as well as a delicioius and fancy protein-rich course. There is off the street parking behind... We loved the Star Gazer Room especially the spa tub. It is also an easy walk to the Cottage Place a superb restaurant. The hosts and other guest in this four bedroom B&B were super. Don't miss Richard's tips on the Canyon!

This is our third visit as a couple to England House; it has become a tradition for our anniversary! We stayed in the Star Gazer room again, which has a jacuzzi tub, sitting area and a lovely view of the gardens from all around. We noted the previous guests comments about the noise; we didn't have any problems...we could have... More

...we hardly got any sleep because of street and train noises. Pretty miserable. But don't give up! If you can get a room not in the front of the house, or if you can go in colder seasons (when the windows are shut), I think you'll be fine. All else was so perfect! The lovely back garden, comfy chairs outside... More

We often stay at Bed and Breakfasts and we can say that the England House is at the very top tier. The home is lovely, the rooms are beautiful, the food plentiful and very well prepared but what makes this place 5 star are the hosts, Richard and Laurel. Their people skills are amazing. They go out of their way... More

Great location, close to downtown. Great hosts with great breakfasts. The building itself is very well decorated and very clean. While the smallest room was somewhat 'cozy', it was adequate to meet our short-term needs. If we stayed here again, we would select a larger room. Even if this was the only room available, we would definitely stay here again.... More
