I really liked this campground. The staff was really really nice and helpful. It was on a main road but we didn't hear any noise, Bathroom facilities were clean. We had a nice spot which wasn't too close to our neighbor.

My father, who is 70, rented one of the banana bikes here. To say the least, it fell apart as he rode it, leaving him on his back, in the street. When he was finally able to get up and walk it back down to the office, Julia (a young girl, with glasses) laughed at him. Mocking the way they had "fixed" the bike. She was EXTREMELY unprofessional and really just a awful human. She never apologized or made sure he was unharmed. Instead, she took the defense and remained uncaring and immature. It's a shame this is how ANYONE would be treated after being laid out on the concrete, let alone a 70 year old veteran. Shame on you Julia. To say our family is truly disappointed in KOA's office staff (Julia) would be an understatement.

I usually never write reviews, but I felt compelled. Do NOT stay here unless you have a sewer hook-up! Only 1/2 of the sites have them. If you have to use the public showers, they are tiny, moldy, and desperately in need of remodeling. However, water pressure is great. Fun place for kids with lots of activities. Nice breakfast Chuck Wagon. Small sites but many are well shaded. Close to highway with accompanying noise, and lots of sirens. Flagstaff is great, but I’ll be generous and give this spot 3 stars (if you don’t have a sewer hook-up).

Stunning wooded spot for camping. Hiking trails right off the park and an easy walk down a cement sidewalk. Clean and easy to find. Grocery and gas station a stone’s throw away. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

We were 100% disappointed with the camp ground. Our tent is a 14'x10' which should have fit the 15'x15' wood chip tent area as advertised on their website. However, even the staff was surprised it was only a 12'x12' area. We had to return to the office to try and figure out a solution because the tent was hanging off the side of the tent area. Also, we were so discouraged with how close each campsite was next to each other and lack of trees! Photos on the website are very deceiving! We were so close to our neighbors. It's one thing to meet new people, it's another to be in each other's pockets! The reason we chose KOA was the advertised activities but more were closed than open! CLOSED: Family Movie Night, Barrel Train Ride, Jumping Pillow and Kids Scavenger Hunt! Why were we not informed prior to travelling? There definitely could have been more effort made to host some of these activities outside in a safe environment. To top everything off was the motorcycle next to our site that left at 6am two mornings in a row that woke up the whole camp ground, including all the dogs! There should be rules against this. We expected so much more.
