We had to shorten the distance to Phoenix and decided to stay at this KOA. We were very pleasantly surprised! Very organized, well designed, friendly staff. Many washing and drying machines at a very reasonable cost ($1.25/wash). We really enjoyed staying at this KOA!

It is an older campground, but that didn't bother us. We paid extra to have cable, but the hookup didn't work nor did the equipment they lent. We made several trips to the office to ask for help. None was given. We were told we were out of luck nor would they refund the extra fees that were paid to... More

This was the first stopover on our RV trip. We arrived after office hours but the friendly KOA staff explained to me when I called that afternoon that or spot was safe and they would leave our map accessible for us. The campground is peaceful and not overcrowded. Shower and toilet facilities perfectly nice. Wifi and hookups for the RV... More

This KOA has the usual friendly staff, but the facilities are entirely overcrowded. Camp sites are sitting on top of each other and there are too few restrooms (folks were going in the showers!). We will look elsewhere in the future...

We have stayed at many KOA's and this one is one that was a bit of a disappointment. It is looking a bit tired and in need of a face lift. The tent camping areas seemed congested with not much room between tent sites. On the plus side they also have a few cabins, plenty of RV sites and a... More

Decent campground. We've stayed here twice in the past four years: once in the teepee and once in our own tent. These are mixed sites if you want electric with tents being assigned to the same type sites as campers/RVs, so there is a gravel base. They are quite close together though so noisy neighbors can easily be an issue.... More

Me and my two 12 year old daughters had a great time in our 5 days, 4 nights there! Our site, 181, came with a patio which was great for eating, reading, and relaxing. Nice shade and a Poke Stop and gym so the girls could hunt Pokémon to their hearts content! Our sit was full hookups and pull through.... More

We stopped here on our way back from our 4 week trip so we'd have a short drive home to Phoenix the next day. Funny little place! Looks like they're doing improvements to parts. RVs were placed at odd angles to each other maximizing availability and yet it worked! Although if you have a long RV, careful where you park.... More

We went on a road trip from Minneapolis, MN to Grand Canyon and stayed on KOAs every night (totaling eight KOAs). This KOA did not make it on the list of my favorites. As other reviewers have said before, it does need a facelift and a little bit more TLC. This was the only KOA on which the ground wasn't... More

This is my first time staying in a KOA campsite and I must say I was a little disappointed. The facility is really in need of a face lift. The trees are beautiful but over power the rv park. They have a nice play area for young kids and wonderful welcoming staff. This rv park has great potential just in... More
