Nice room. Friendly service. You'll have to drive if you want to go anywhere. The breakfast service was disappointing, but the hotel is really clean and looks new. The location is close to the Interstate, but not to downtown.

I decided to book the Courtyard as website described its lounge and restaurant along with a business center, and it is pet-friendly. I found the hot tub photo enticing as I was in the middle of a coast to coast roadtrip and my muscles were aching. I arrived at the hotel only to find no restaurant, no cocktail lounge and was told that Covid was the reason. Covid might have affected the level of service the hotel offers, but it certainly didn't affect the hotel charges as the "pet-friendly" Marriot charged me $80 dollars for my dachshund, and the hotel rate certainly didn't reflect the current non existent hotel service. I then went to the business center as I needed to edit a document, and I didn't bring my laptop. The only computer that the hotel had wouldn't permit a sign-in

Thank you for your immediate response! We are sorry that we fell short of your expectations. We do send out pre-arrival emails stating what amenities are open or closed. I am sorry that our pool/hot tub were closed due to maintenance issues during your stay. We have lowered our rates to reflex the pool being closed. All other amenities are open at this time. We do ask you call the property before arrival as things are constantly changing. Thank you for staying with us during these unprecedented times. We do hope you choose to stay with us the next time your travels bring you to Flagstaff, AZ.

Horrible! We were looking forward to staying here with our kids over Thanksgiving. The indoor hottub and pool was the reason we booked. Once we visited the hotel and found out the pool and spa were underconstruction we asked for our money back so we could find a hotel with a pool and spa for our kids. The hotels response was that we could "walk accross the street to their other property" I am sorry but suggesting we walk across a major road in 30 degree weather with little kids TO SWIM was just a slap in the face. We kindly ask asked for our money back and the property offered a $30.00 refund. Yet another slap in the face. We finally left with no refund out $170.00 because we paid for a room elsewhere. The hotel was not even at capacity. I can see why Horrible customer service.

Background- former Platinum member for YEARS, now just gold. But I have a LOT of experience with Marriotts, and Courtyards in particular. Upon check in, I showed the front desk clerk the AAA rate from their (AAA) site on my phone. $136. She said her best rate was going to be $143. I said I’d book through AAA and be back in 2 minutes. She was kind enough to finally match the price. Saved me a couple minutes from going online, but also costed a couple going through the exercise. Next, I was handed a slip for my car (to place in window to show I was a guest). And a $6/nt charge with it!!! At a COURTYARD? They certainly found a way to get $6 of my $7 savings back. Ha. There is no parking garage. (Watch out for the homeless guy urinating in the corner of the unsecure lot

We are hoping to open our Bistro in the near future, as we miss it too. We are offering a limited menu daily as well. Thank you for staying with us during these unprecedented times.

I try to stay at Marriott hotels when i can. I have elite status with them and get treated well at every stay. I just finished two knee surgeries. Total knee replacement and torn quad. I have not had a good nights sleep since May. Quiet and the most comfortable bed ive ever slept on. Hit pillow. Out. Woke up in morning. Have not slept thru night since i injured my leg. Perfect

Great location. Safe and pretty part of town. Wonderful views from the hotel. Beautiful fire pit and great beer options. Would definitely recommend for those looking for a central location to the Grand Canyon and other National Parks. Easy ride from PHX. 10/10

This place is nice, although the night before we stayed at a Fairfield inn Tempe, and it was 10x nicer at 1/3 the price. We were mostly disappointed because we were quoted a price from another Marriott employee, yet the manager would not support that price, and we ended up spending 3 times our hotel room limit. I'm still disputing this with Marriott. Other than this issue, everyone else was very friendly, although the bathroom wasn't as nice as Fairfield Tempe.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that we fell short of your expectations. We will try harder next time. Unfortunately, are rates very on Occupancy. If you are quoted a rate, than I would book it right then. By the time you call back or come in, the rate will have increased. We do hope you chose to stay with us the next time your travels bring you to Flagstaff, AZ.

The room was fantastic. The bed was extremely comfortable. The reason they only get a three star is they sprung a $6 parking fee on me at check in. Obviously it's not the $6, it's the principal that they sprung it on me at check in. I can see CA charging the fee because parking is a premium in CA but Flagstaff AZ? The lot was 50% empty when we got back to the room at 9 pm. Just a money grab that's not necessary. No breakfast but certainly couldn't waive the $6 parking charge as a courtesy for not offering breakfast. Too many options in Flag to get nailed with a parking fee.

Thank you for your response. I am sorry that we fell short of your expectations. We do get 102 inches of snow a year. We have to hire a plow in the winter and repairs are done in the summer. I am sorry that you weren't told about it at check in. We do hope that you will choose to stay with us the next time your travels bring you to Flagstaff, AZ.

Good location if you are visiting local attractions. Staff was pleasant, room was clean. There was a confusion with breakfast and it took forever to order and have it brought to the table on both morning of our stay.

We were supposed to have stayed at the newer Fairfield in Flagstaff, but apparently the lobby had flooded. So we got stuck at the Courtyard in Flagstaff and it was *another* bad experience there. First they tried to make us pay for parking when the Fairfield had no charge and we were supposed to get the same rate. No microwave, which was also at the Fairfield. Courtyard front desk people were not very Marriott-like at all. Then after the parking charge debacle which the front desk person basically shrugged it off, we get put in a King-bed room when we had requested 2 queens. The King room had a horrific odor to it, but we were tired and ready to just relax. The TV remote, which is supposed to be sanitized then covered so you know during these COVID days that the remote was
