Had a wonderful stay in the Ivy room! Comfortable furnishings and over-the-top amenities! Such lovely hosts and a delicious breakfast. Will plan to stay again! Later on our trip we stayed at the Auberge de Sedona which was rated as a 5-star hotel. It could NOT even compare to the Starlight Pines.

We stayed with our girls--ages 21 and 24 in the Lilly and Ivy rooms after a day trip to the Grand Canyon and before we flew out of Phoenix. We loved everything about our stay. The service provided was incredible. Maxx was so kind to give us restaurant recommendations and ideas of what to do for our short stay, such as visiting Walnut Canyon on our way to the Phoenix airport. We loved the coffee service in the morning and the breakfast that Monica prepared was amazing! The inn has such charm and special touches everywhere. We do appreciate their kindness and hospitality and would definitely recommend staying here!

What a great stay we had here, stayed in the wonderful Lily Room. Had a lovely welcome from Max who showed us around - he also had good recommendations for restaurants. The Lily Room was lovely, a good size, a huge comfortable bed, big bathroom and lovely little veranda overlooking the hills. The warm brownie on arrival was such a nice touch. It had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable. Had a great night sleep, didn't hear any noise from other rooms. There is parking for about 4 vehicles outside the property. Breakfast was a lovely fruit/compote followed by eggs/bacon and the best cinnamon french toast. Maxx did also offer to deliver fresh coffee and pastry to the room before breakfast which was welcome. He had even pre stamped a postcard so you can send it back home (and even offered to post it). It's little things like this that make SP a great place to stay. There was an issue that caused us problems (not property related nor courtesy related) that I give this property a 4 rating but won't go into that on here as overall we really enjoyed this place and would happily return (forearmed with a bit of knowledge on the issue we had!).

Starlight Pines is not your usual B&B. First you're warmely welcomed by Maxx and Monica whom are gracious, open, passionate about what they do and overlook at every details to make your stay enjoyable (hello dear delicous brownies). Secondly, their home is your home. You feel at ease and aagin, everything is thought for your stay to be comfortable, restful and dlectable. You will enjoy the best breakfast in Arizona here. If you want to explore what this beautiful region has to offer, Maxx and Monica will share their best tricks and off the beatten track suggestions. We've tour Arizona and we're World traveller and our stay at Starlight Pines was one of the best we've experienced in our live. Enjoy!

What an amazing place Strarlight Pines is. The house is beautifully decorated with incredible attention to detail. Our bedroom (Dragonfly) was much bigger than we'd anticipated with a sumptuously comfortable king-size bed and luxury bedding. Maxx & Monica's hospitality is simply outstanding. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They are so warm& friendly and nothing seems too much trouble. The advice we were given about the local and wider Grand Canyon areas was second to none. Don't even think about staying anywhere else if you are visiting Flagstaff, Starlight Pines comes highly recommended. Thanks for making our stay so special, Paul & Pete

Maxi & Monica are the epitome of the finest hosts I’ve ever had the privilege to stay. The house was immaculately clean. The service and advice was was spot on for all we did. And the food they served; I have been to 5 star dining that was not near as good as the breakfasts served at the Starlight Pines. In addition Maxx & Monica provided us with prepared breakfast for an early trip we made. Snacks and goodies all over. Other B&B hosts could learn much from the hospitality at Starlight Pines inn in Flagstaff!

We absolutely loved our stay at Starlight Pines. Maxx and Monica were the most gracious hosts we have ever met. They made us feel like family. They are very knowledgeable about the area and Maxx had great recommendations for a day trip as well as dinner locations. The food is top notch! We will definitely be back when in Flagstaff.

Maxx and Monica were the most gracious hosts. They packed us a delicious breakfast to go that was so filling - we finished it for lunch! Their dinner recommendation was great as well as directions to the old town of Flagstaff. We’ll be back. Lovely room and so many amenities. The best!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The room and entire house were immaculate and unbelievably comfortable. Maxx and the doggos were wonderful hosts - making us feel welcome, providing great insights to the city and surrounding area (thanks for the Walnut Creek Canyon suggestion - what a magical place!) and the snacks and breakfast were delicious! We can't wait to visit Flagstaff and the Starlight Pines B&B again!

We had such an amazing time staying in Starlight Pines. The hosts truly enjoy being innkeepers and went far out of their way to ensure that my wife (a vegetarian/mostly vegan) was well taken care of. The room (Dragonfly in our case) was very very comfortable and well-appointed--including bubble bath and bath salts for the claw-foot tub! Breakfast in the morning was outstanding. I was truly sorry to be spending only a single night. We're looking forward to heading back to Flag to spend more time at this B&B.
