We travel often and tend to frequent the Hilton as it is typically clean and well kept. This property was quite the opposite. Welcomed by non working lights and a thick layer of dust on everything, this room looked like it had not been used or cleaned in a while. The tables were sticky, the bathroom Sink did not drain and had “gunk” on the handles. Not enough towels and tan out of shampoo and body wash in the shower. Topped off by pancake pillows. Will not stay here or recommend again. Extremely disappointed

This Hilton hotel and the nearby Radisson are both located downtown. Hilton has newer rooms inside. Lobby of Radisson needs a refresh. Advantage to Hilton is the gym and pool. Also the staff were terrific! We forgot something in the safe and Lewis at the front desk found and returned it. Magical!

I have stayd in this Hilton hotel several times. The location is great, the property is clean but... The staff has changed a lot during the Covid-19 era. Earlier I always felt that Hilton Scranton is a special place to stay. It had excellent, smiling staff from front desk to the restaurant staff. Now, hardly any smiles, the service is tacky. There is hardly any interaction. Also the quality of the breakfast is not as good as it used to be. I had a waiter/bartender at the PJs restaurant who hardly had any customer service ability. I am writing this review with a sad heart. I used to call this hotel as a home on the road but now thinking that I might stay somewhere else with less money.

Visited the in-house PJs Pub (solo) while in town. My sever Deanna made me feel welcome and comfortable from the get-go. Coming from someone in sales, I was impressed w/ her ability to handle multiple tables/customers calmly and w/a smile. Although, obviously busy, she was engaged with all her tables and was efficient without being hurried/overwhelmed. An asset to the establishment for sure! My greek salad was huge and fresh and the chicken-avocado flatbread hit the spot.

A very pleasant stay during my business trip. Friendly staff and helpful with all my needs. The breakfast bar was fantastic and always plentiful. The facility provides all my essential needs especially for ny workouts or relaxation in the hot sauna.

Deanna was great, most helpful staff, and friendly smile, took great care of us in the mornings, we are here for weeks at a time and being able to relax, refit, and get back to work seamlessly, makes the time on the road go by faster. Really great RLTW

Sara at the coffee shop is a ray of sunshine- even at 6 am! Service is outstanding. Tyler at front desk is always welcoming and friendly - any lengths for customer service. Facility is well maintained and any meals I have had were delicious - great breakfast!

Stayed here for a night while traveling through the area. Hotel staff were all friendly and appeared to enjoy working there. Room was recently remodeled and bed was very comfy. The A/C worked great, could be lowered down to 60° if you wanted to, and ran all night without having to constantly get up to activate a motion sensor. Breakfast was one the best I’ve had in the US, huge selection of buffet items and the custom prefer omelets and pancakes were delicious!!

The good was the employees. The check in was seamless, the employees were so friendly and nice. They were eager to help however they could. The bad the pool is definitely not heated. The hot tub jets were not working, and the odor of chlorine after we left was so pungent! I’ve never smelled anything like it! The rooms were ok, nothing fancy, but clean and fine.
