The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was awesome. The view was fabulous! I wish we could have stayed longer! We enjoyed the restaurant and bar. The shuttle from the airport and back was extremely helpful! I highly recommend a visit here!
I was there for a fishing charter. The Hotel in general was awesome; however, the restaurant was not as good. The hotel was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The front desk and cleaning staff were great. We ate at the hotel restaurant one night and the service was very slow. The food was ok, but would not recommend. Their are better places to eat.
Stayed in Sitka while we went out on a charter. Like being in town as we can walk to various places for eating, shopping and bevergaes. Overall the hotel was fine but getting a bit tired. Elevator and ice machines worked but we hd a slow draining shower that we asked to have looked at and they never did. Was a bit warm with no A/C - they provided a small fan. TV has limited channels. Overall it was clean and people friendly. Restuarant had limited hours but food was great. Second time we stayed there. Many shops in town were closed due to lack of cruise ships/biz.
This hotel is nearby to basically everything. You are within walking distance of pretty much everything in town. The hotel itself is clean but a little outdated. The room was small and dated but fine. Bathroom was dated and the automatic fan that turns on with the light is very loud and clunky. Baseboard heater, no a/c, so the room gets quite warm in the summer. They provide a fan in the room. Blackout shades were great and I would have cracked a window to get some fresh air but there was noise outside almost all night long. The walls are quite thin, as are the ceilings and floors so you can hear literally everything going on around you. Visited the restaurant downstairs and it was good, although quite pricey, but that’s what you get with secluded Alaska. Staff was great. Overall, hotel was fine, location like I said was great.…
