If you're looking for a private, peaceful, romantic getaway then this is it. Exactly as pictured. Lovely hosts. Delicious food. Privacy and comfort. Easy access to Shenandoah National Park and all that Luray has to offer. We loved having a little kitchen. We appreciated being able to have breakfast at our leisure in our own room. We felt welcome to... More

INNKEEPER’S FAVORITE REVIEW
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2016

What's not to love about The Cottage? The king size bed is incredibly comfortable, the hot tub is a great way to relax after a day hiking in the park, there are great views of the farm and the mountains from the room, and Betsy's food is AMAZING and ample-- we almost always had leftovers from breakfast! Betsy and Ed... More

My boyfriend and I came down to Luray for the triathlon, which was a 5 minute drive from the cottage! What a cute and comfortable stay we had here. Rhe cottage itself is quaint which brrathtaking views. Its the only guest house on the property and it is separate from the main house so there is plenty of privacy!!! The... More

That’s what they say. The third times a charm. Well, our 3rd visit (5/25 to 5/27) to "The Cottage at Raven’s Roost" was just as charming at the first 2. Yup, you guessed it, if we’ve been there 3 times now it must be because we like it. We’ve said it all before so check out our previous reviews for... More

We had a fantastic stay at Raven's Roost Farm. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The cottage itself is lovely and comfortable. Breakfasts were lovely, and the breakfast nook overlooks the horse pasture, with distant mountain views. We also found everything we needed in the kitchenette, and ate our dinners outside with beautiful scenery all around. Every comfort was... More

My husband and I spent a delightful weekend at the Cottage at Ravens Roost Farm recently. The cottage was cozy and charming, a perfect place to get away for a couple of nights. The bed is *so* comfortable, the breakfasts delicious and filling and the jetted tub and hot tub felt so good at the end of chilly days driving... More

Cozy, beautiful cottage settled on a farm with amazing scenery and history. The hot tub was perfect for the cool evening. The owners were very nice and accommodating. Breakfast on your own time is very convenient as well. Would definitely return!!

Well, I failed to do a review when we stayed at the cottage for the first time last year, but this year we decided a review was overdue. If you haven't figured it out yet, since this was our second stay the first was obviously good. Betsy and Ed are super nice folks and we have very much enjoyed our... More

My husband and I had such a relaxing weekend staying at the cottage. We enjoyed having breakfast on our own schedule each morning and loved having a place to stay complete with a private bathroom and kitchenette. We would love to come back.

We stayed here on our honeymoon and had an amazing time. Betsy & Ed were so nice and helpful, and the cats were so friendly, visiting us in the evening. The hot tub was a wonderful way to relax, and the scenery that surrounds you on every side is beautiful! Much better than a hotel room. We had the windows... More
