A nice B&B that offers access to all the businesses along Main St., with a view of the mountains in the distance. I would recommend the Willow Room and a rested seat on the back deck for the bottle of wine offered by personable innkeeper Anne. Best time to go would be Fall.

We traveled from Pennsylvania to Luray, and what a wonderful weekend my wife and I both experienced at the lovely Inn of the Shenandoah . Between the warm and inviting community rooms, the tasteful decor and the breakfast, it was Eggs Benedict that morning and tasted so good, we had a lovely weekend. The hostess Ann, a treasure herself, sat... More

Loved this place!!! Fantastic hostess, amazing breakfasts, charming and comfortable place (cottage). Very accommodating. Switched us to ground level so my partner wouldn't have to do stairs on her crutches. The breakfasts alone are worthy of the highest Zagat rating. Super comfortable bed. Plus complimentary bottle of wine! Would very highly recommend.

The innkeeper was warm and gracious, she made us feel at home right away. The room was clean and charming with all the amenities that we can ask for including romantic whirlpool and cable TV with lots of channels. Included in the room is a complementary bottle of wine and stash of yummy snacks. We would highly recommend this place... More

We stayed in the Willow Room which was spacious and very comfortable. The innkeeper, Ann, couldn't have been more hospitable greeting us warmly and showing us to our room whilst also showing us the facilities of this fine old home. We really appreciated being able to access our room directly up the external staircase from the car park. We were... More

We stayed 1 night 9/16/2015 & the innkeeper Ann was lovely as well as the housekeeper, Gloria. The Inn is charming & the breakfast provided the next morning was AWESOME, my mouth still waters when I think about it. We had a lovely room with a king bed & huge jacuzi tub in the large bathroom. Very clean too. We... More

Nice little inn for a quick getaway to the mountains. Short walk into the sleepy town center, where there are several vacant businesses. Most stores were closed early on the weekend, which was disappointing. The town has a nice public walk along the Hawksbill Creek and a cool railroad display in the Luray Visitor Center. All the towns people we... More

We stayed for 2 nights at the inn and were very impressed with how accommodating Anne, the innkeeper, was to us. We originally were supposed to stay in July but had an emergency and she rescheduled for us, which was very nice that we didn't lose the money spent. She also made breakfast to accommodate my vegan diet and it... More

Inn of the Shenandoah was a great first bed and breakfast experience. We stayed for our second wedding anniversary and really enjoyed ourselves. Ann, the innkeeper, was lovely and we enjoyed exploring the town of Luray. The bar is set high for our next B&B stay.

My husband surprised me with a night at The Inn of the Shenandoah and everything was fantastic! Ann and the staff was friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. I especially loved the outdoor seating areas for relaxing. Would definitely return!
