My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the charm, comfort and privacy offered in the comfy Cottage at the Inn of the Shenandoah. Very quiet. Linda created delicious breakfasts each day to fuel our visits to the Luray Caverns and Shenandoah National Park. Townspeople were very friendly and offered lots of tips on visiting sites. We attended a wedding outdoors at the Rivers Bend Ranch, with horses and Longhorn cows joining the wedding guests to celebrate. Highly recommend a visit to the Shenandoah Valley and a stay at the Inn.
We had a wonderful experience at the Inn. Innkeepers were very friendly and the rooms were beautiful and clean. We enjoyed our breakfast too. They gave us a little tour upon arrival and then led to our rooms. Stained glass windows or decorations added much charm to the inn. I particularly liked the comfortable bed. Imagine sleeping in a house with so much history made the experience even richer! An issue we had was dinner which has nothing to do with the inn. If you want to have some fine dining, remember to reserve Moonshadows next door early! We walked in and only outdoor seats were available.
Spent a lovely weekend and was so happy with the cottage. It was roomy and so welcoming. The house is nicely appointed. Our Breakfasts each morning were delicious and filling. The ingredients so fresh and service was as friendly as could be!
Charming inn in middle of beautiful Luray. Innkeepers--Linda and Meaghan are most gracious hostesses. Wonderful breakfasts. Next door to a great restaurant Moonshadows. Luray is a beautiful town with beautiful views of valley, farm lands and the mountains and it also offers its visitors good eating options. The caverns and Skyline Drive offer great excursions. The rooms, baths and sitting areas were very nice. Also enjoyed Moonshadows restaurant, the Valley Cork and West Main Market deli.
A lovely Victorian bed and breakfast! Megan and Linda were so warm and welcoming and made our stay a wonderful experience. Our room was beautiful and the banana blueberry French toast was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend Inn of the Shenandoah.
