The Inn of the Shenandoah is an elegantly remodeled Victorian home located in the heart of Luray. In typical European flair, antique glass windows elegantly adorn two mirroring dining and sitting rooms outfitted with beautiful crystal chandeliers. The Inn features three suites outfitted with jacuzzi tubs for two, with outdoor balconies, crystal chandeliers and king or queen beds. The Inn has a large back yard with gardens and is regularly used for special events and weddings. Guests may also choose to stay in the Cottage, directly behind the Inn, which houses two oversized suites with kitchenettes, Jacuzzi bathtubs, and private decks.

Everything about this beautiful bed and breakfast was perfect! Lisabeth makes you feel extremely welcome, and was happy to help us with anything! You know that you are staying in a special place when that place is full of personal little details. From the snacks in the cottage, to the marshmallows for your hot chocolate, to the above and beyond flexibility that Lisabeth has when cooking breakfast. Vegan, gluten free, almond milk...anything and everything she was willing and ready for. And it was all delicious!!!!! Thank you for a perfect stay to begin our yard sale excursions!

We had a lovely 3 night stay. The Inn keeper and her staff are very helpful and kind. The breakfasts were AMAZING!! Each breakfast was unique, creative and delicious, like none other. Lisabeth easily shared her recipes. Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality! We will return. The town is adorable and has easy walking access to lovely restaurants and walkways by a beautiful creek. Sit back and relax on the clean well kept porches. You will be glad you did!

We stayed here for two nights during our visit to Shenandoah National Park and it was great. Lisabeth was really sweet and helpful. Her breakfast is amazing. We ate at the restaurant next door for dinner which was convenient and delicious. The location does not have much to offer but it was great for us because we just needed a place to eat, shower, and sleep!

It was a bit pricey for the location. The breakfast was yummy, and staff was sweet and attentive. I would not return though, too expensive. With that price, I expected a view of at least the mountains in the distance. My husband had a good sleep so that was nice.

The Inn is centrally located to 211 and 340. Easy to find, ample parking and very clean. Lisabeth was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area considering she has only be local for 8 weeks. The breakfast was amazing - in fact, my carb free girlfriend had two slices of the banana bread! The architecture and decor were very consistent. We plan to be back in the fall for a hiking trip.
