My husband and I when we showed up it was in the range of checking in. The door to the office said open and ring bell for help or call one of the two numbers they left on the door. Well we both had no service on out cells, and we rang the bell multiple times. So we left to...

My family (6 people) and I stayed at The Rivers Inn not the cabins 17 Dec-20 Dec 2015. The only positive comment I have is the close proximity (approximately 2 miles from the entry of Sequoia National Park). The rooms are dirty...outdated and disgusting. Rooms haven't been cleaned in ages and there was no housekeeping available. Bathrooms were filthy...and just...

I did not actually stay there. I noticed news reports of the Rough Fire extending into Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park, encroaching on the Hotel. I tried to cancel my reservation but got an answering machine and " probably permanently closed" statement on their Facebook page. The next day the phone was disconnected and the Facebook page said "Permanently...

Booked last minute to this inn on the 4th of july weekend as this was the only listing available @ booking.com. The room smelled clean. We checked in around 12 noon ( ok to check in early ) and then headed to Sequoia NP that day and back to the hotel at 9pm. There is a grocery store called Totem...

Outside of hotel looked recently painted. Room was just okay. Air conditioner was old. Shower was like being in a trailer shower. I'm 5'5" and the shower head was too low. Owner was very friendly. Grounds needed groomed better for improved appearance. It was outside of Sequoia Park.

Excellent location. Great price for the area. Very friendly owners/staff. Reasonably clean and comfortable room and bathroom. They do have free coffee/tee in the room but do not offer breakfast. Overall, good value for money.

I made my reservation five months ahead of time. I knew I would be arriving late, so I called the morning of to let them know I would be doing a late check-in. The person I talked to on the phone said no problem and that they would just leave the front office open with our key and towels. Then...

Visited The River Inn recently during the Jazz festival in Three Rivers, CA. Places in town were all booked up and this was the last available room. Dirt cheap but you get what you pay for. Pros: Not one but TWO Wi-Fi networks. Yeah internet! Cost was very reasonable. Proximity to Sequoia Natl. Park can't be beat (1 mile!) so...
