I enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much. The room was a bit outdated, but that is fine as it was comfortable, and I spent the entire day at the Sequoia National Forest (not the hotel.) The hotel is fantastic as it is immediately next to the entrance to the forest. Behind the rooms of the hotel, you will...

Our stay in the alta cabin was fantastic. Being able to sit on the deck listening to the river run and watch the surrounds was magical. The room has all the amenities that you could need for a family with plenty of room for relaxation.

My wife and I along with our 18 month toddler spent a lovely couple of nights at Buckeye. The lodge backs directly onto the Kaweah river which makes for splendid viewing right outside your room. The lodge also has nice views of nearby hills and valleys and is ideally placed just outside the park entrance. We had a room with...

My daughter and I just came from a Spring Break in Sequoia. Buckeye Tree Lodge was a gem of a location for us. It's comfy/safe and the views on the river a amazing. Million dollar views. We loved that we got our own coffee grinder - with french roast beans/muffins and fruit each day, what a wonderful way to start...

This lodge has nice rooms and a friendly staff. SO close to Sequoia National Park. The view behind the lodge was AMAZING! The back balcony faced a rushing river with large boulders and spring flowers. The room had ample space and the bathroom appeared to have been recently updated.

Great place on the river close to the national park. Our room was clean, the information in the room was one of the best files I have seen in the US it had everything you could ask for and the breakfast muffins were good. The property is next to a restaurant a little pricey but easy access for dinner and...

My 14 year old great niece and I were on a road trip 2/2016, this review is really late! I did not have a 4 wheel drive so we could not take the car into the forest, this motel is directly outside the entrance, we paid a maintenance man to take us on a full day tour and presto, we...

We loved this motel position on the river. The room was cosy and comfortable and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast basket . The manager/ owner? was lovely and very helpful. We enjoyed breakfast just outside our room in the sun overlooking the river- beautiful!

A very nice, cozy hotel with a fantastic view of the river. We only were able to stay one night but looking forward to returning. They gave us a breakfast basket that had muffins, juice and fresh fruit. Very cute.
