Stayed in the River House-Wow. Booked at last minute and was lucky to get from a cancellation. Family of 4 with a 13&16. 3 bedrooms and more space then we needed but worked out great. Great decks off the kitchen and bedroom overlooking river that is literally steps away. Front desk was very nice and helpful. Right next door is... More

Simple place, clean rooms, and backing up to the river! So pleasant to sit outside your room, or down on the grassy area, listen to the water, the birds, explore around the river, just relax. Very peaceful.

You couldn't get any nearer if you tried. This lodge is the last place on the road before you enter the national park, this was great as it meant being able to be in the park before it got busy. Our room in the lodge was great with every facility. It had a balcony at the back which overlooked the... More

This lodge is perfectly situated just outside the Sequoia National Park boundary. Each lodge has a balcony with great views of the mountains next to a babbling river. The room is clean and comfortable. There is even a breakfast basket provided containing a muffin, probably homemade, fruit and a drink each, A rarity as most American hotels don't include this... My son and I were in CA for another reason and decided to take the opportunity to see the great parks of the Sierras. We booked a few months earlier, and found that the person who booked us at Buckeye was very accommodating to our schedule, and even though they did not have 4 nights in a row in any... More

We had an overnight stay at this place on the road to the park. A decent place. 2 big beds. The pool was small but ok. Cozy area by the river. Good food at restaurent next to the place. It closes at 21, but the bar is open as long as there are people. Our room had a balcony, overlooking... More

We were delighted that our room was filled with the sound of a rushing stream all night long. The staff was welcoming and the basket we were given with breakfast muffins, juice and fruit was lovely. Beds were comfy and there was great water pressure and room amenities. My friend and I were pleased. We sat by the stream in... More

We stayed here with our 4 kids and my parents. The kids loved the pool and the common area by the river. We stayed in the Alta for a night and then #11. They were both great, with plenty of room for my husband and I and our kids. It was a great place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.... More

Comfortable room with 2 queen beds, refrigerator, microwave, TV. Second floor with deck in back overlooking the Kaweah River and mountains in the background. Pleasant to sit out there in the evening with a glass of wine. Enjoyed swimming in the outdoor pool in the late afternoon after spending the day in the Park. Only three tenths of a mile... More

A great choice for visitors to Sequoia and Kings Canyon -- we rented the River House, with 3 bedrooms, balcony overlooking the river, large family room, and fully-stocked kitchen and couldn't have been happier with our stay. It was affordable and practically next door to the entrance to Sequoia (though it is a bit of a drive to get to... More
