We have stayed at the Buckeye Tree Lodge several times in the past, and we keep going back because it's a great, calm place to unwind and relax. Our room was very good - comfortable, with good amenities, and an outside deck overlooking the river. The lodge staff are always welcoming and pleasant. There is a good restaurant within walking... We were only here for the night , we had driven from Las Vegas and heading into Sequoia NP on our way to Yosemite NP the following day. The room was adequate , good beds and heating , breakfast basket was a nice touch too . The outlook from our room was lovely and the girls enjoyed a swing and... More

The lodge is well located on the main drag through Three Rivers along the Kaweah River. They are hardly a quarter mile South from Sequoia National Park. So staying here for nature activities is a natural. You can certainly walk to park. The more experienced hikers can easily walk deep into the park to see the Sequoias. The "lodge" is... More

Chief Guru! Thank you for taking your time to write a detailed review and to also post several pictures from your stay in Falcon. I read each and every review to see what we can do to improve and it really makes my day when I hear that our guests have thoroughly enjoyed themselves. After all, we are in the... More

We stayed with some friends and their kids (4 adults, 3 kids) in the River House portion of the hotel -all of our first times to Three Rivers and Sequoia NP. Upon early arrival the staff couldn't have been friendlier and more welcoming. Firewood for the wood stove included and anything lacking in the kitchen can be found in the... More

Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to review us on Tripadvisor. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and especially the rope swing in the Sycamore tree in our backyard. Great place we stopped at before entering Sequoia National Park. Quiet, with good facilities and a very nice breakfast snack basket provided. A very clean cabin style accommodation and a lovely porch to relax on.

This place is a diamond in the rough. I was in room 3 and our back door opened to the river, a BBQ area and beautiful tables and chairs for a nice cigar taking in the views. We were there in transient this past weekend and we will most certainly stay there again. The room was small but comfortable, but... More

We had a visitor from Japan who wanted to visit Sequoia National Park so looked on the Internet and found that the Buckeye Tree Lodge was highly rated. We then arrived on a Monday and left Tuesday morning. The rooms were large and comfortable and there was a welcome basked of fruit which also included a large dog biscuit for... More

I just stayed for one night and I agree with recent reviews. The staff was nice and the room well apportioned. If you are coming in from the south, definitely a good choice. I come in from the north and had previously stayed at the Montecito and Buckeye was nicer in comparison. However for exploring the park, Montecito's location is... More

For sequoia, this is the place to stay. The rooms are very well appointed with fresh roasted coffee beans, coffee grinder and coffee machine . Our room had a patio / outside chairs leading down to the river with the hills beyond. You get complimentary fruit, buns and soft drinks in your room for breakfast with a free bottle of... More

We stayed in the Glacier lodge, which was very comfortable and spacious. The location was brilliant for exploring the Sequoia Park and surrounding area. The lodge was very clean, including the two pools. Although could have done with a kettle to make tea - there was a very good coffee maker though (us Brits would have like tea!)
