For us, Kaweah Park Resort fit the bill. It was funky and fun--that stuff on the ceiling with embedded sparkles, the curtains and bedspread a print showing a moose, a porcupine, a fish in a repeating pattern, fake pine panelling...you get the picture. Our room had an unexpected kitchen and a welcome gift with a reusable bag. It was like...

I was there for Labor Day weekend. The minimum reservation was 3 days. So this was the first time I went camping to this River alone with kids. There was a pool, lake was low, and the flow of the river was not fast. Wi-Fi didn't work, but it turned out to be a blessing so the kids had to...

We stayed here in a rental RV for 2 nights in October 2015. We got a lovely welcome at reception when we arrived and were made to feel very welcome. The park was spotless and clean and very well looked after. The toilet and shower block was clean and well maintained as was the laundry which we used during our...

The grounds have many beautiful old trees, with surrounding mountains and access to the now stream of Kaweah River. We stayed in the RV part of the campground which during the weekends can seem to become over crowded if you are not careful of positioning your rig! On Saturday nights they show a movie on the grass meadow, which was...

We stayed in cabin 1, which has a king bed and two single pull out sofas. As others said, it is not immaculate, but it is fine. Remember that these are a few cabins in what is otherwise a camp site and RV park. If you are looking for a 4 star hotel, you're not going to find it in...

We stayed at Kaweah Park Resort in mid-May. Our point of staying here was a "base camp" sort of speak for our visit to Sequoia National Park. This rv park was located at the intersection of three rivers. Our particular site was located right next to one of these rivers. The white water raging near us was great. It was...

The various shortcomings of this "resort" would be far more tolerable were it not for the price ($180 per night) we paid for a room with a kitchenette. We had intended to do some cooking and were therefore unpleasantly surprised to discover that the kitchen was stocked with nothing. No pots, pans, utensils, dishes or drinking vessels of any kind....

Do not live here, there is spider net on the lamp, dead cockroach on the window, carpet is dusty... The bed lamp is not working, you can hear cars running all night in the ears. Hygiene is really poor.

This is on the way to Sequoia National park, we dry camped on the river, the first night was beautiful, you could hear the river flowing...Second night not so much, had a partying group on one side and a generator on the other side from the time they showed up, and why did they need it? To watch TV while...
